I came here with my family and a reservation is highly recommended. Hosting was nice and the place was cozy with a fireplace. Food was something great ... I try the shrimps in tamarindo souse, the beef in Rockefeller souse, and beef with dark pepper ... Those dishes were awesome ... Its an expensive place but the cava was great... More

I finally ate at La Taberna del Leon in Mexico City. I have always wanted to go and I think this is why I had so much higher expectations than The experience I actually had. Service was good but not exceptional, due to silly things, that at the end are the ones that makes the service exceptional, such as waiter... More

Every time I seat in this restaurant; there is a surprise in the table. Always new flavours, new smells, tastes from the ocean, bites from earth, great wines and a portion of an unknown soup spiced specially that day. On the heart of Loreto's plaza, an old house beholds this Restaurant. Cousy atmosphere, great service (old style), Don Daniel, the... More

The restaurant was great especially the cream of garlic that they serve in a very especial way and the empanadas of fish that they offer us at the beginning. Also we discover great Mexican wines that where quite astonishing

The food, atmosphere and service are good. Fish dishes better than others. The chocolate cake portion is so small that it almost seems a sample. The spoons for dessert you can't believe the poor quality it feels horrible while taking them.

It was a family dinner on Tuesday night. Most tables were booked but we've got a reservation. All the food was fantastic. Red wine at descent price. The place is an old house beside a shopping center. The service as in most Mexican restaurants is very good.

Before I criticize the food, I'll have to say that the ambiance is fairly nice and the service overall was very good...waiters and personnel were very attentive and always serving patrons with a smile...now, to the food... This has got to be the worst cooked and served ribeye I have ever been served...poor presentation was the first giveaway that this... More

Went there for lunch with a family member. It is clearly a business lunch favorite. It is located in a renovated home that provides a warm environment for a meal. From appetizers, main course through dessert the dishes are carefully planed to provide good taste with visual comfort. The style of food is international, with some Mexican fusion, depending what...
