A nice restaurant with a variety of Portuguese dishes... The food is well prepared and flavored, but is still missing some condiments to be as Portuguese flavor food. Still is good to go when missing Portugal.

Met some great friends, and follow this recommendation for breakfast. They have a wide selection, so you will find something you like, even if you don't eat eggs (like my wife). I had the Huevos Arlequín, which had my favorite flavors (salsa roja, verde, chilaquiles & bacon!!!). The cafe con leche was perfect! This was a niece surprise, since I... More

I had heard so much of this restaurant, and frankly I was disappointed. Not the quality of food and service they brag about.

We had two wonderful meals at Casa Portuguesa, returning a second time. Try the Camerones Piri Piri, the Croquetas de bacalao, the Pulpo a la Portuguesa, and a delectable Ensalada Carioca with mango, cucumber, avocado, and hearts of Palm. Service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Buen provecho.

You would love the place, the staff service, the mood on Friday nights with live Portuguese music, and off course the food and wine! I am totally honest saying I do not dislike nothing about this restaurant. A tip for Sunday's lunch if you go in a big party: be there before 1:30 pm and be prepared to have a... More

Fabulous location with views of the park in Polanco, good selection on the menu, and the puddings are delicious! Only downside is that if you sit on the terrace there are a lot of street sellers and others......so if you want to sit on the terrace best not be right on the outside. A favourite for weekends.

Tasteful cod fish plates with good wines from Lisbon and a certain sense of homeful feelings for me as a Brazilian living in Mexico in touch with very well made Portuguese food as we can find in Brazil. The only improvement is on bolinhos de bacalao (cod Fish scones), they could be bigger and with improved seasoning to reflect the... More

Casa Portuguesa is the only Portuguese cuisine restaurant I know of in Mexico City. It is located in upscale Polanco, the premises are nice and so is the ambiance. The food, however, is not as upscale as the area and somewhat lacks the real Portuguese touch. Besides, there seems to be other problems in the kitchen: I ordered a fish... More

We had a wonderful Mexican breakfast at Casa Portuguesa. The service is outstanding, the complimentary pastries are delicious. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Great location. Would definitely recommend this place.

Best breakfast indeed. They offer delicious sweet bread and a great selection of amazing dishes. Traditional mexican dishes and also light versions if you wanna cut on the calories and they are all very good. Service is pretty good and the price very decent.
