You would love the place, the staff service, the mood on Friday nights with live Portuguese music, and off course the food and wine! I am totally honest saying I do not dislike nothing about this restaurant. A tip for Sunday's lunch if you go in a big party: be there before 1:30 pm and be prepared to have a... More

Fabulous location with views of the park in Polanco, good selection on the menu, and the puddings are delicious! Only downside is that if you sit on the terrace there are a lot of street sellers and others......so if you want to sit on the terrace best not be right on the outside. A favourite for weekends.

Tasteful cod fish plates with good wines from Lisbon and a certain sense of homeful feelings for me as a Brazilian living in Mexico in touch with very well made Portuguese food as we can find in Brazil. The only improvement is on bolinhos de bacalao (cod Fish scones), they could be bigger and with improved seasoning to reflect the... More

Casa Portuguesa is the only Portuguese cuisine restaurant I know of in Mexico City. It is located in upscale Polanco, the premises are nice and so is the ambiance. The food, however, is not as upscale as the area and somewhat lacks the real Portuguese touch. Besides, there seems to be other problems in the kitchen: I ordered a fish... More

We had a wonderful Mexican breakfast at Casa Portuguesa. The service is outstanding, the complimentary pastries are delicious. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Great location. Would definitely recommend this place.

Best breakfast indeed. They offer delicious sweet bread and a great selection of amazing dishes. Traditional mexican dishes and also light versions if you wanna cut on the calories and they are all very good. Service is pretty good and the price very decent.

I was there with a couple of friends. We got a table on the terrace, which is very nice. We shared a portobello carpaccio and an octopus carpaccio. Both excellent. The Portuguese cod is also very nice, but you may choose from a wide variety of fish and seafood Portuguese dishes. If you like desserts, you may want to try... More

We had read about this little cafe and were so happy we decided to try it. Beautiful fresh croissants and pan dulce, perfectly pulled espresso and an intersting, creative menu give this cafe near Lincoln Park all it needs to start your day off perfectly. I will go here again and again when in DF.

Just a few block walk from the big hotels, Marriott, W and Hyatt, is a splendid little cafe. We only went for breakfasts, but we went 3 times it was so good. Be sure to order the juego con bayas, a smoothie made with a mixture of berries. The Spanish omelet is excellent. And if Fernando is your server, you... More

Cheff & owner Maria makes sure quaility remains the same (best) as when opened around 10 years ago. A dozen ways to cook codfish, all are great (ask your waiter). But if you like octopus, try it "portuguese style". Don't hesitate to try "Vino Verde" (green wine). Well located, in front Lincoln park in trendy Polanco neighborhood.
