a noisy, mad, colourful place

had Sunday brunch and the cafe latte was okay and the food was okay. this is not a place for older diners but would be a lot of fun for a family with younger kids. staff in costumes, games at the table, cutouts of famous people to sit with.

The food is nice and not expensive. Some items on the menu we found to be overpriced (eg pizzas) but perhaps those were for two persons. Had nice burgers and good fish. You can play games while waiting, which is nice. Staff is friendly.

This place is located in the very nice park, Parque Mexico. We had breakfast there. The options were many. The food was good and the price very reasonable. Enchiladas were quiet good. Decoration is simple.

Not sure why this restaurants get ratings that high. OK, the location is great but the food is average at the best. My ceviche missed any seasoning and was simple dry fishmeat. The fish fillet I had was OK but not great. Decoration and furniture looked kind of cheap and without much taste.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City. It is located right in front of Parque Mexico, near Condesa and Roma Norte. They offer delicious mexican food as well as other international dishes. You can also play board games while waiting for your food.

This place is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in town. They have very good eggs in many varieties and whatever you order is going to be good. I especially like to Huevos Rancheros and my boyfriend is a fan of the eggs with the Za'atar bread! The Chilaquiles are very good too! Great place to open your... More

This fun, hip atmoshpere was perfect for a weekend brunch. It's right next to the park in Condesa, and was close to our bed and breakfast. The red chilaquiles were spicy, but so so good.

It's really a cafeteria, breakfast is good, served in abundance, service was quick and curteous, prices are surprisingly accessible. I made the mistake of asking for two dishes (chilaquiles and omelette) which was way too much food; luckily the rest of the party was more than willing to have some! Woud recommend going early, certainly before 10AM on a weekend,... More

I went to El Ocho for a late dinner and drinks with friends and loved it. You may have to wait for a table for some time if you go on a Saturday night, but the wait is worth it. The Classic Hamburger is just fantastic, with an unexpected a Mexican touch that makes it delicious. It is a clean... More

Have eaten at el ocho many times. It is important to note that it has moved from Avenida Amsterdam to a few blocks away, on Avenida México, in front of Parque México. What ocho has is a visual setting which is excellent. Lots of games, an interactive tactile table top that kids can play on, and just generally a visubally... More
