Nice cosy Bistrot.

The food is quite good yet the wine selection is a bit limited to say the least. Their specialty is the Duck which I have e joyed a few times. If you are in or around the Colonia Roma, this is a rather good choice. The tuna tartar is also very good. Prices are a bit high for the type... read more

Stumbled across this place in the Condesa outskirts, on a cute corner with nice looking bars or restaurants on three corners. Very friendly and efficient service, pretty busy also for a Tuesday evening with a mix of couples, groups of friends, etc - felt fairly local but also with some ex-pats or visitors. Everything so far points to a 4,... More

As always, we try to look for that one place to have that last great meal before leaving any city we're visiting. The owner of the Red Tree House suggested Rojo, said this was probably a restaurant we'd really like, and he was right. Not too far from the RTH, the walk along Amsterdam is nice and I can't believe... More

So impressed with their specials dishes, best duck Maigret in town!! I will suggest to try the specials, I had to try my partner dish, and my mouth was watering, I regret later not ordering the premium choice steak from the specials . The wine list is big enough with great choices, it was hard for me to select a... More

My dad and I spent our last evening in Mexico City here. Although some reviews have mentioned the limited wine selection, I found the selection to be more extensive than other places in Mexico and for ok prices (wine seems to be overpriced in Mexico City in general haha). We both had delicious pasta dishes! Prices were normal to slightly... More

This friendly, cozy bistro in the Condesa neighborhood is very inviting due to the low light and corner location. Service was exceptional. The food was good but not great. I had the brie in almond encrusted pastry and a roast duck breast with a compote of fruits atop a bed of mashed potatoes. I guess this is supposed to be... More

We came on our last night of a one month trip to México. A recommendation from the folks at the Red Tree House. They did not disappoint. Intimate dining, great food, great service reasonable prices. You must try the creamy tomato soup. Superb!

I had two good meals here. Great service and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Food is excellent. If the weather is nice, you have the option of outdoor seating. Otherwise, you've got the bistro-like interior which is 'just right'. The third time I tried to eat there----no reservation and it was solidly booked, so be sure to reserve.

We had a disappointing meal at Rojo bistrot our last evening in Mexico City. The food was perfectly decent starting with the bread and herb butter. Salmon with a arandano sauce was nicely cooked, but was skimpy on the sauce and the asparagus was practically raw. The Mediterranean linguine was fine. The salads looked good but they were all meal-sized,... More

Very good bistrot-type food. Very pleasant sitting out on the sidewalk. The pasta with shrimp and saffron is delicious. So is the onion soup. Wine selection is limited but pretty good.
