Excellent tuna tostados

We popped in on a Friday night at 8pm and were surprised but delighted to be shown a table right away. The tables outside were heated and tented for smokers and looked like a popular place to be as couples poured in for the next hour or more. We sat inside in a warm, brightly lit comfortable room... read more

Lampuga has been able to manage its expansion nicely. The original restaurant in the Condesa area is quite excellent and this new one in Polanco has been able to maintain the high standard. Food is very good and the atmosphere is nice, especially in the terrace area. The tuna tostada is great and the fish of the day is usually... More

Great option to unwind after away at work. Flexible menu, outstanding quality, great wine list. Clam chowder and entrecôte are perfect for this cold weather, take your time to choose the wine. Enjoy!

Lampuga is located on one of the coolest and trendiest areas in Mexico City called Polanco. This place is surrounded by all kind of bars and restaurants. Lampuga has a vast menú, filled with delicious plates. It offers great ambiance and a beautiful terrace with a Street view. It also has a back patio where you can enjoy your meal... More

The food is very tasty. Price is ~$450 MXN per person. And the problem is that the service is kinda clumpsy (waiters need more training and manners). They brought the wrong order to us and confused our dishes, and keep getting in the way (crossing the table). But it's not that bad, and the value is quite good.

The seafood menu is great @ Lampuga. Ambiance is good however service undermines a pleasant stay in this restaurant. This is a very good option for a business meetings or a gathering with friends. In my view this place is slightly overrated, as you can find better options (several) in the Polanco area.

I am from Korea and I had best raw tuna salad in this place! They are not just good with seafood but also with red meat. I ordered lamb and it was really tender and juicy and it comes with french fires/salad/mashed potato. I went with my family and we ordered full dinner course and everything was excellent. You should... More

Nice variety of dishes, well prepared. Normaly have a rule - do not not eat seafood unless you can see the ocean. The shrimp I had would equal what I find at a popular seafood restaurant on the Pacific coast of Mexico, plus a few more choices. Service was good, a little to hovering, not what you traditionaly find in... More

This was our first place we ate upon arriving in Mexico City. The food and service were both very good and the place seemed to be filled by locals enjoying a late lunch.
