Last time we were in this place some years ago, had a good food quality. This time we were six persons and we all had problems with our food. Too much for a coincidence. Sorry but you can find a much better quality italian restaurant almost anyplace at Mexico City.

A couple of weeks ago I finished a sales meeting in Mexico City with a nice group dinner at La Strega (The Star) one block north of Mexico's World Trade Center building. Loctaion inside the restaurant was great, we got the Witch fountain room (a water and fire fountain) next to the italian stone oven for pizzas. Ambience is exclusive... More

Very unique ambiance, resembling a witch cottage, including broomsticks, batwings and windows bars. A nice selection of Italian dishes nicely prepared.

I'VE Been here three times and it is one of my favorites, great service, excellent food, romantic if you want to ti impress her, friendly if you want to be with friends, good for bussines, my last visit was to celebrate one year with my gf and she just loved, we had a great time. Always recomended.

Some friends took me there in the advice that I'm an Italian food connoisseur and lover. The trip worth everything in the chaotic Mexico's City traffic. Restaurant ambiance, politeness and knowledge of the service and the food are all great, even though the price is high.

I swear the vanilla ice cream (no other flavours, no sorbet) came in a gallon can from the cash-and-carry. The main course (giant shrimps) - how to spoil good ingredients with crude sauces. Served lukewarm.

Five of us went there for dinner. Although the service was quite good, the food ranged from quite good to almost inedible. The two appetizers we had (portabello mushrooms with peppers and cheese and fried provolone) were the best part of the meal. The two main courses with salmon - one pasta and one covered with a cream-like sauce -... More

I went to La Strega while staying at the Crowne Plaza at the end of the road when I needed some bland food for reasons you don't want to hear. I asked the hotel staff for a nearby Italian restarant and they recommended La Strega. It was very quiet on a Saturday lunchtime and the fettucine with cream ham and... More
