This restaurant advertises itself as experts in the art of roasting. Readers of my reviews know that I have a thing for Condesa restaurants, they always seem overpriced and pretentious to me. I was hopeful this time, I thought this might be a good restaurant in the area. I was disappointed, as usual. The food is bad. They pad the... More

It's a pity to only give three stars to a restaurant where the food was so good. I had a pork steak with honey glaze reduction and a simple and delicate salad, with potato purée as a side dish. For dessert a chilled chocolate soufflé. All very tasty with little taste surprises everywhere. But it's unforgivable when one has to... More

If you manage to get upstairs and avoid being discouraged by the arrogant, not very welcoming bartender which is located right in the entrance you might have a very good meal. Also upstairs you can be lucky and receive service from the experienced waiter, which speak way too loud but efficient, or be serviced by his boss (?) and return... More

Great food, at a good price. We had a small meal of mole poblano tacos, three different corn, and beans, which were very creamy. We also had their house cocktails. You pick an alcohol, fruit, and aromatic. The bartender then whips up a cocktail. Everything we had was great. I definitely would go back.

Amazing variety of dishes both for meat lovers and vegetarians. Try the minestrone soup and the coriander roasted chicken.

Bretón, from Chef Alonso Ruvalcaba, re-dignifies roasted chicken to a new level. You will not only find organic, free-range chicken roasted to perfection, but also turkey, panceta, porceta, and veggies. The place is small but with a great open terrace and dedicated service. Come in early, specially on sundays, as it will be packed. Very casual atmosphere and friendly staff.... More

Try any of the following: ramen, organic "jerk" chicken, fennel and green apple salad, porchetta with fennel, organic chicken consommé, roasted pear crumble.
