The restaurant is almost always crowded, so most of the times you have to wait for a table. The food is very good and the portions are enormous. Most individual plates can be shared by two. The service is not the best, but the food is worth it.

The meat here is truly great, and the cost is so much less than many similar restaurants nearby. The vacio steak is particularly good. There is no English menu, but so what?? My only gripe is no margaritas. Please - this is Mexico!!

When grouping quality/service/price, Don Asado is a good Uruguayan restaurant. I just had to “learn” what and how to order because, in my opinion, they are sacrificing quality a bit in favor of quantity. I would stay away from their parrillada; the different cuts are not all cook to the same level and some may be overcooked while others are... More

It is very good looking place - uruguayan steakhouse. Nice atmosphere. Lots of meat kinds at affordable prices. Perfectly cooked. We waited for around 10 minutes and recieved 3 meat meals. I could recommended this place to meat lovers. They have only 1 english speaking person, so maybe you will be required to wait until getting service.

The Parroquia branch @ Colonia del Valle neighborhood has changed. You order a wine from the wine menu but they charge you for a more expensive one, the food is less and the empanadas that used to be great are far from that. The male manager is arrogant and not polite. Don't go there...it used to be my favorite Uruguayan... More

This is a small steakhouse. Their owners are from Uruguay. Their meat cuts are really good, good flavor, cooked to perfection and most of all. They have really great prices. Thy have several restaurants all across Mexico df. I'd been to all of them. They are all great. My suggestion, prime rib. It is out of this world.

I went in July last year for a University graduation party dinner ... The food in regards to quality is good .... not great, especially the meat. However, the portions are giant and the prices are really, really good for the portion/quality combination this place provides. Great service as well ... I have been back since. Make sure to make... Don Asado is excellent for what it is: It serves good food in large portions at fair prices. It is a well-established, popular and busy place that seems extraordinarily well managed.

This turned out to be the place that we had dinner while we visited Mexico city for 3 weeks. the Half grilled chicken is wonderful, the waiters dont speak much english but if you know what you want to drink when you sit down, and can point to it on the menu and your dinner, things will work out just...
