Great location & food

Near the hotels & embassies. The area is beautiful to walk through and the menu was very good. Staff pleasant and food was right on, no problems. We will go again.

We were looking forward to this as it had been recommended by a friend. There is a wonderful atmosphere and setting here. The food centres around beef, so the choice is more limited if you are vegetarian. My son and I had the menu special platter for two, this comes with steak, egg, chips and a large salad. It was... I found this place just wandering. I haven't seen too many lines outside of restaurants in this area, so I was intrigued. Don Asado titles itself as Uruguayan. I don't know anything about Uruguayan food, but if it tastes this good, I'm going to Uruguay soon! Street side you notice the restaurant because of the open grills just inside the... More

Walked by this place at lunch and saw the wood fire ovens and all the meats grilling. Looked like steaks, sausages; brisket and more cooking. Big place; lots of TVs to watch sports; cool atmosphere. Asked the waitress for their recommendation of the best entrees to get - she recommended the cowboy ribeye. It was ok - nothing special. Wished... More

The place has the best steak that I have had to date. I was toying with the idea of having the tomahawk steak of the ribeye. I decided for the ribeye which was a melt in the mouth experience which left me wanting more. I hindsight should have gone for the bigger tomahawk which has bigger, but I guess I... More

Travelling for a living ,having a lot of meals in hotels and far away restaurants .. This restaurant just made me feel at home .. I've actually never been to Uruguay , so I had no idea what to expect .. The varieties of grilled meats , fresh salads was really delicious ( as well as the sauces offered on... More

Went to Don Asado on our last night in Mexico City ...the food was amazing ,the service was good and food came out fast. The ambiance was good with good music but it can get a bit busy in there... This restaurant has two floors , downstairs and then the upstairs which is semi open and you have a view... More

I visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I had already heard good opinions about it and we decided to give it a shot. The service was good and very quick; in was in the mood for pizza so we ordered one and it was very good. Also you can choose your favorite ingredients from a list... More

We were there because my brother-in-law recommend it us as a good priced steakhouse and he was right. The food is just OK at a reasonable price. We begin ordering some Empanadas that were good, and after an assorted parrillada for 3-4 people (according to the menu) and we got a full plate of meat that would fill 6 or... More

I guess people come here because it is cheap. Quality of food is just ok. House wine also cheap and they serve big glasses. In the weekend the place is loaded. Decoration is basic and not particularly tastefull. Wouldnt take a girl here on a first date. I do not complain, it is just what it is.
