We recently moved to Mexico City from the US and have been trying restaurants weekly, as the city has an amazing assortment of fine places to eat. So far this is the best place we have been to. The place is unassuming in its decor, but the food and the service were simply outstanding. Obviously you pay what you wish... More

We had an amazing meal, I would recommend the cheese soup followed by huazontles, then the beef with pulque, and finish it up with the rice with milk dessert. Their wine and mezcal selection is good, the prices are good considering the quality of the food. The decor is nice, I would recommend sitting inside as I think it is... More

Today we had lunch at the Quintonil, first of all let me tell you that this is my first time at this restaurant. Atmosphere, appropriate for a good conversation and time. We ask first for some entrances. First we had the Callos, the way flavors were mixed, amazing. Then we asked for the huahuzontles, some kind of plant which is... More

Nice surprise. The place is small, quaint, in an adapted home. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There is a touch of refinement in the details, white cloth, designerly dinnerware. The menu is super interesting. I had an incredible salad with toasted kelites. The turkey loin with pipian sauce was superb. I think of their cuisine as a dissected traditional... More

I went to Quintonil with clients while in DF on a business trip. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. I had the chef's tasting menu, which was definitely worth it. My Mexican clients commented about how there are many very Mexican items, herbs, etc. on the menu that you wouldn't see in other fine dining types... More

Inventive, multi-layered flavors from beginning to end -- delicious and expertly prepared. Service was quiet, attentive, friendly. Ambiance is pleasant and not intimidating or pretentious. A winner!

More approachable than Pujol, more creative than than Dulce Patria, these are the top three in Mexico City! The restaurant is intimate and like most real cities, starts to fill up around 9:30 p.m. and reservations are a must. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced. The menu consisted of 8 first courses, nine main course choices and the... More
