I'm a purest when it comes to coffee and many people around the world even in America don't understand that I all I want is 4 shots of espresso over ice. I know great espresso and many places do it wrong or it's masked by lots of sugar and or milk. Cielito gets it right and I was pleasantly surpised.

This is part of a chain, very good coffee and pastries, and a nice patio area. A great alternative to the plague that is Starbucks.

Excellent coffee in DF. Beautiful decor, wonderful products for sale and the best tasting coffees and teas you can try. I have found a new favorite and will be looking for them to fulfill my caffeine needs.

I currently live in a country where there are no Starbucks, and although I miss it from time to time and was excited to see them in Mexico City, Cielito Querido won me over! They have more traditional Mexican twists on coffees, and offer more variety. Give it a shot!

First of all the location is called the Juarez location, but it is not exactly on Juarez and it is not exactly on Independencia. It is on a side street close to Independencia. But I'm not sure it was ever clear what the name of the sidestreet is. The coffee is excellent. My wife tells me that the Grande Latte... More

This place is great for both coffee and hot chocolate! The hot chocolate is amazing and should not be missed. If you are in the area it is worth a try. I wish there was Wifi.

It is like a mexican starbucks, although service is more friendly. Hot chocolate my favorite, it is real chocolate not fake beverages.

Don't expect to be wowed by the setting. Pretty functional. However, do expect the coffee and various hot chocolate drinks to be excellent. Quiet enough for conversation but, no WiFi at all.
