We sampled many fine restaurants in Mexico City, but this one stood out. The crowd is definitely on the hipster side, but fun to watch. Our food was flavorful and beautifully presented. The truffled risotto was to die for!

Restaurant is in a mostly residential area. We walked about 15-20 minutes from the Cilpancingo Subway Station. Food was average, nothing exceptional. Prices seemed to be somewhat higher than other, similar places. The service was just OK. You may want to try it if your hotel is nearby. I would not recommend a special trip.

A few words? Abysmal service and just average food. The hype might have gone to their head, but at such price point, a minimum of service should be expected. Inattentive and dismissive waiters are simply not accepted. Some might be excused when the food is superlative but that is NOT the case here. All in all, a very average experience.

I would disagree with the previous reviews. Although the food is good, the portions are just ridiculously small and the prices high. A few on our party ordered the short rib which, as I said, was good. The problem is that you get such a small portion good for two or three bites, literally!! In fact, I had lunch a... More

Had an amazing dinner here on a rainy May evening. The restaurant is cozy and intimate in its simplicity. The service was top-notch,from the knowledgeable waiters who explained in detail and in English the items on the menu we could not understand to the taxi-hailing in the rain, even apologizing that it didn't come soon enough. And the food...glorious. I... More

A wonderful little spot for lunch. The asparagus was green and lush topped with a Hollandise sauce that was excellent! The beef was quite tasty and as I grew up in Kansas City, I set a pretty high standard. I understand the chef serves only what he finds to his liking in the market that morning. It's worth trying!

This place is absolutely fantastic. With the new bar upstairs, no need to wait outside for a table to become available. Great cocktails in a cozy location (though small) upstairs. But it's downstairs where the fun truly begins - the food is really exceptional. The menu changes regularly, so there's no guarantee that the cuisine during your visit will be... More

Another great meal but one that as a solo diner began poorly. It just seems restaurants in Mexico City don’t really know what to do when someone eats alone. They told my hotel, the St. Regis, a reservation for one wasn’t available but I should just show up and there might at most be a short wait at the bar.... More

We ate here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed our meal! The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. The food is fresh, with complex flavors that are not overcomplicated by tons of sauces or ingredients. Especially notable were the crositini con escamoles (ant eggs) -- delicious! We even had a friend stop by and the waitstaff was very accommodating in... More

My husband and I ate lunch here yesterday and it was really, really tasty! Maybe the most creative food I've had in Mexico! Subtle but still with a Mexican accent. We had a conch ceviche salad which was sparse and tasty but the conch was so subtle it might as well not have been there. That was the only miss... More
