Was there with family and friends on big table. We had a set menu as we were so many (about 10-12) but we very thing was great. I can definitely say that I left with a full belly and we didn't eat all the dishes that were supposed to be sent to our table. Staff was great and ambiance was... More

I've been to Maximo several times and each time left thinking the same thing. Decent food, very small portions & disgusting bathrooms. I get that the food is farm to table in 24 hours & the chef is fantastic. But every single time we go the bathrooms are absolutely atrocious, backed up with 'female products' stuffed down there and broken... More

I'm honored to have such great Chefs and restaurants in my country like Eduardo Garcia owner of this place! The place is a small, simple and elegant place! The food is a pice of art, every dish is original, perfect served, artistic and authentic. Service amazing and the Chef rocks! He is so cool and nice!!!

I'm inclined to say that this restaurant is overrated, I seriously don't get what the big deal is. It became infamous due to its rudeness, and I must say the service has improved tremendously, you can now expect friendly and courteous service, but the food is, to my taste, pretentious and only average. Very expensive and portions are small, I... More

We were visiting Mexico City and decided to try Maximo Bistro for dinner. Upon our arrival we were seated and a waiter who was assigned to our table seem less than enthusiastic to serve us. He made no attempt to engage in conversation with us. The Menu was written in the smallest font and was very hard to read. My... More

I have been to Maximo several times in the past 6 months and each time the food has been excellent both in presentation as well as taste. I especially love their foie gras. The desserts are a weak point across the board (and also don't change too much), but last night the French toast with rompope cream was excellent. The... More

My dearest friend and outstanding chef of Beefbar , Eduardo Morali recommended this place to us when visiting our beloved Mexico City and I have to admit - it was unforgettable experience - those flavors of Mexican soil in appearance and composition created by chef Eduardo Garcia made our evening (and night) in Bistrot Maximo so unique!!! If you in... More

this top Roma restaurant is often bustling, but management seeks to find space. Two visits in May 2015 were top notch. First, when no table available included a trip upstairs to a cozy bar area where great margaritas were served. The roast pig (lechon) had skin that glistened like mahogany and enhanced every bite of tender pork. Don't skip deserts.... More
