I heard about this restaurant before until recently. most opinions were good. finally with a party of 4 we had the chance to eat and have dinner. We met the Chef and he suggested we should not order from the menu instead he will send what he thought was his very best. it is important to mention that one of... More

Bistrots are our favorite type of restaurants. Went to eat there with my daughter a few days ago after hearing about the it being the bistrot to go to. Even reserved 1 week ahead of time. Menu looked interesting. A few plates caught our eyes and we were anxious to try them out. From appetizer to main dish to dessert,... More

This is a place not in the middle of were all the restaurants and bars are in Roma or Condesa neighborhood you have to search a bit for it, it offer different kind of dishes you could n ´t find on a regular bistro, the Lamb was excellent, wine suggestion match very good with the dish, dessert was really nice... I gave this place a second chance as the first time was a huge disappointment, second time was nothing different. The food is good/average and very expensive for the place. My pork belly needed to be more crunchy and the artichoke was undercook. We didn't order dessert or coffee and paid over fifty dls per person. Way to much for... More

We had an exceptional experience at Maximo Bistro. Charming, intimate restaurant with delicious, sophisticated food. Service was excellent. A very memorable evening -- I look forward to returning.

The menu offered a very limited selection. The food was very bland. The atmosphere was stilted and the whole experience was poor value for money.

We were in Mexico City this past weekend for a wedding & were trying to find a good brunch spot. A local recommended the Maximo Bistrot and although there were no breakfast/brunch items on the menu, we were far from disappointed. The restaurant is only open on the 1st Sunday of each month (in town at the right time:) &... More

We had heard great things about Maximo, so showed up ready to be delighted. There were definitely some high points such as the great drinks and top quality ingredients, but ultimately the food and the service left us disappointed. We were seated outside at a table so dark we could hardly read the menu or see what we were eating... More

Nowhere in Paris have I eaten so rich and greatly achieved french food. I always claim that in a city like Mexico City is almost a sin to visit the same restaurant twice, but in this case, I'll come back over and over as long as they deign on giving me a very coveted reservation. The restaurant itself doesn't look... More

Amazing food and attentive waitstaff. We went for lunch, and this was hands down our best meal in Mexico City. Definitely worth the hype. For lunch we had the asparagus and the mushrooms to start (best grilled mushrooms I have ever had). Then we had the cavatelli (homemade) in pork Ragu and then we had roasted pork for our main...
