My husband and I ate lunch here yesterday and it was really, really tasty! Maybe the most creative food I've had in Mexico! Subtle but still with a Mexican accent. We had a conch ceviche salad which was sparse and tasty but the conch was so subtle it might as well not have been there. That was the only miss... More

Finally there is a restaurant in the Roma/Condesa that can compete with Rosetta. Went here for Valentine's dinner ... fantastic service, superb food, nice setup .... very highly recommended ... well worth the price.

A New Year's Eve dinner at Maximo Bistrot (in the colonia Roma district) was a great event. This is a small, intimate and rather crowded restaurant with many table tables outside (even in this cold winter weather) albeit with heating and plastic sheeting to provide some protection. We were, luckily, inside and the six course fixed price meal was a delight.... More

On a recent business trip to Mexico I had the privilege to be brought here for lunch by our hosts. The menu changes every day, depending on what is on offer in the market. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The chef came out to meet us and once we'd finished eulogising about his food, he revealed that he's opened... More

My wife and I recently spent five days in Mexico City. On our first night there, our hotel owners suggested this little neighborhood bistro. They made a reservation for us for 7pm and we were there on time. We were promptly seated at a cute little corner table for two. We were glad we had reservations early and that we... More

The food, the service and the prices were very good. Great vibe with outdoor seating as well. Loved the pulpo ceviche, huachinango and ravioli de calabaza. Handwritten menu changes daily (bring your reading glasses as the print is small). The only complaint I had was that the bathroom had no lock. Despite that, I'll be back.

Food and restaurants are my way seeking pleasure and the staff at Maximo Bistrot knows how to succeed. The Chef, owner, pays attention to every table and guest. His expertise in the kitchen shines. Maximo Bistrot tops my list of restaurants!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for being there!!!!!!

We went for dinner and had reservations at 7 p.m. through Open Table. Unfortunately, traffic was horrific and it took over an hour from the hotel and we were 45 minutes late. They were fantastic and agreed to seat us, but we would have to finish in an hour and 15 minutes. We went for it and did not regret... More

This has become a real hot spot with a lot of buzz. That sort of distracts from what is on the plate, and I think the place may now be struggling to keep up with its lofty reputation. The menu is generic bistro, dishes that you might find really anywhere in the world. A nice menu apparently printed daily, which... More

We could get a table late at 10.15 pm. We sat on the terrace, the weather was really good even though it was late at night. Excellent menu options, such as ceviche de pulpo and risotto con morcillas. Foie gras was also really good. This area of the city is getting to be very trendy with a lot of good... More
