We had originally come to this area for a restaurant called Monte Cristo but after a while trying to find it and eventually discovering it wasn't open for lunch we went to the restaurant at the gallery La Pause called Lustig. It's a peaceful setting and seems to be popular with the locals. The owner who spoke perfect English explained... More

Four times I had breakfast at La Pause, recently renamed Lustig. Note that La Pause continues to be the name of the gallery that surrounds the restaurant, so this is the best name to find it. It is located at the heart of the oldest part of Coyoacán, on Francisco Sosa street, which some people regard as the most beautiful... More

I was staying at Casa Piedra B&B in Coyoacan and La Pause is just a quick walk away. After a short walk through picturesque streets, I arrived at the restaurant to find a very quaint patio filled with flowers and a fountain. I was greeted warmly, served promptly, and checked on frequently by the wait staff. (I saw other reviews... More

Stopped in about 5pm on a Sunday. Service was efficient and pleasant. The waiter did his best with English even though we were trying in Spanish. The chef came out to make sure that we understood (in English)the preparation if the delicious Tacos Ensenada w/4 sauces...excellent! If you are on Ave. Francisco Sosa in Coyoacan...make a stop here.

We happened upon this restaurant while strolling in the Coyoacan neighbourhood in Mexico City. We enjoyed our lunch here, and found the restaurant's indoor courtyard quite charming, but the service was a little bit slow.

Full of character and atmosphere. Traditional Mexican cuisine in the menu, with an array of gastronomic dishes to select. Ours had flavour, presentation and detail. We truly reccommned it.

Situated smack on pittoresque street Francisco Sosa, the romantic courtyard with its fountain soundscape (indoor restaurant with a more contemporary style is also available) is the perfect place to cool the sightseer's heels (open all day). The ceviche with maracuya reduction as starter was fantastic; the ravioli with 4 cheese sauce was a bit starchy and overpowered by the dried... More
