Very nice place to go

We went there for lunch end of February and we were very happy to discover this homey type of restaurant. Very busy, but the service was excellent by Ivan Bautista so was the innovative and well presented food. I shall returned

Very few times I have experienced such an amazing food. Every single piece home-made bread was a dream. The best rib I have ever eaten, a great wine list and a menu that will keep my brain busy for a long time. This is a must if you like good food in a nice area of a humongous city. Enjoy... More

Three of us were recommended to eat here by another chef whose restaurant was closed for the day,and we were so glad we went. Beautiful salads, one with a beet sorbet, one with thinly sliced artichokes....pastas with a goat sauce, another with a light vegetable-sausage blend...for dessert, unusual ice creams of hoja santa, ginger and a beautiful mango strawberry 'Napoleon'... We chose traditional pasta and risotto dishes for entre and mains. I love pasta dishes and this apparently simple food is hard to get right. And they don´t here. Salt was the dominant flavour. But the waiting staff were great...got us a table although it was booked out. The building is a beautiful example of the Porfiriato era I suppose... More

After reading all the reviews i was so excited to try Rosetta restaurant. And it was a massive disappointment. Building is nice and atmosphere is like cosy chic but the food was one of the worst i have paid for in Mexico. Had minestrone soup that was tasteless , the one at ginos chain is a million time better. Had... More

This was our favorite restaurant in Mexico City. The food is delicious, innovative, well-prepared, and fresh. The waitstaff are welcoming, attentive, knowledgable and professional. We ate here four times in three weeks and were always very pleased. We really enjoy good food and this restaurant was consistently on the mark, whether we wanted fish, pasta, bone marrow, or sweetbreads. Cannot... More

The location of the restaurant is a nice tree-lined street. As you might expect, the place was packed at 8pm on a Friday but the service was excellent still. We had the only two vegetarian options on the menu and they were pretty good. All in all, we weren't blown away by the food at this place; it's good italian... More

We went on a Wednesday evening -- two women (from Mexico City and US) and had a wonderful evening. Service was attentive and polite -- something that doesn't always happen when it's only women at a table. The setting is charming. We loved our dinner. Impossible to resist the amazing bread that arrives warm. The carrot ravioli was delicious -... More

This was total class for me. Wether is Italian or Mexican - lets not debate that. This place makes you time travel to another era with its ambience and decor. The food thats served is amazing, the service is fabulous and very attentive. I had a small meal here with a friend. We shared deep fried squid, cheese and tomato... More

Not the best choice, unfortunately. Apart from being treated impolitely by the personnel, my pappardelle pasta was not even al dente. In Italy I would have sent the dish back to the kitchen, but here, in Mexico City, nobody has an idea what pasta or risotto (by the way, the waiters consider risotto as pasta, which is a rude mistake)...
