I don´t know if it is bad luck, but I went non less than 4-5 times to this restaurant, just for taking my mother in law born in Veracruz. When asking for a certain dish, the answer is sorry Señor, we don´t have it today. Asking for nothing hot (chile) in my food (I simply cannot have it), they mistakenly... More

This is bistro style food at mid-range restaurant prices. We had two entres and two mains - both which we're big portions and poor quality. With sangria the bill was $600. My main was a fillet mignon - it was covered in a huge amount of salt, with floppy chips and squishy veggies swimming in margarine as sides. Between me... More

Been here every time I have visited Mexico City for over twenty years. I keep coming back since it has always been so good. It is worth the price.

In the 1960s I used to be a habitué. It is a fun place to go in a group, but couples can enjoy it too. Not a "mariachi" place at all: the music is "tapatio" from the Veracruz area (i.e. no trumpets).Decor is extravagantly Mexican and the service excellent. Food is good but not startlingly so. A touristy place...but so... More

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been in Mexico DF. Food is amazing and portions are just huge. Be carefull when asking for many plates because you won't be able to eat all! Definetely recomended!

Usually I do not go to a restaurant that a taxi driver suggest but it just happen due to the one we plan to go just recently closed. While we waited outside the restaurant they served small drinks of Toritos which is fruit favored drink with mescal. My wife and I tried the Guanabana. Delicious while we waited for our... More

Nice mariachi restaurant. Bands were great. You pay 60 pesos per song, but it is fun. Food isn't that great, but you go here to experience the Mexican tradition.

I have been in many countries and it is always hard to find the perfect mix between good food , value and some local folklore. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. They have live groups playing all day long. Food plates are huge and very taste. Been there at least 5 times and... More

I was invited by Mexican friend who recommended this restaurant as very good Mexican place and it was indeed by all means. Great food, great drinks, great service (as long as you speak Spanish). There are at least 4 bands of mariachi playing different instruments from various part of Mexico. The food is from west-south part of Mexico, great stuffed... More
