Prices are pretty high comparing to other Mexican restaurants, but not high by American major city standards. It's a good way for American tourists to ease their way into Mexican cuisine.

The menu is innovative and varied. Menus in English and Spanish and a bi-lingual staff. You can speak Spanish or not and be quite at home. All the staff is friendly, but the unique food choices are the high point. e.g. Seared rare ahi with a fig based salsa and sliced figs. Excellent. We have eaten here many times and... More

I visited this place twice in a month and both times had ceviche and fish. The quality was in very good and the service very attentive - I went for lunch and dinner and in both cases before the crowd arrived . It is not overpriced, but not the place for somebody on a budget. For ceviche and an entree,... More

Well most of the energetic place. The manager Arturo quickly greeted us and directed us to the table we reserved. It's good to know they close at 6 on Sunday's. And noon to 10 the other days of the week. Immediately we were served a variety of salsa and if you like it hot like me, well the onion habanero... More

I came here to meet a friend here who was from Mexico City while I was spending a lot weekend there . He highly recommended this place since I was relatively nearby at the anthropology museum. Since he got stuck in crazy traffic on the way over, I started ordering some ceviches without him and they were damn delicious, especially... More

Tried the cebiche sampler, the portions are ridiculously small, this is a personal plate, do not think of sharing. Flavor goes from good to very good. Tried also the shrimp and octopus tostadas and the were above average. Small, quaint place, decor is OK, service is very good, value just OK, recommended.

I would like to thank my server first for being so astute on how to serve a party of 5 without hesitation on an order that only comes with three tacos. Second, I would like to thank the chef for coming out to the main hall and talk to us about the recommendation of how to start with the main... More

Wonderful seafood restaurant. If you're staying in any of the big business hotels in Polanco, this is an easy stroll. Highly recommended.

Outstanding food quality, excellent service and great variety of traditional and home design dishes. In addition , they have one of the most creative and recognized chefs of the City, who personally supervises every single detail of what comes out of the kitchen. If you want to know Latinamerica's best Seafood, Agua y Sal is definitely your place.

Great food, and I seriously mean great! I'd move in next door if I could. We had the Agua y Sal ceviche and it was superb. We then shared a dinner because we weren't too hungry but ended up ordering another dinner to share because it was too yummy not to. The red snapper was outstanding!
