What a find, in the midst of the Hotel Zone in Polanco, this seafood restaurant offers delicious hot and cold dishes. After a complimentary stack of crispy tostadas (tortilla discs) with a selection of colourful salsas of varying degrees of heat, I started with Aguachile - according to the Manager, a Mexican version of ceviche. From what I could see,... More

I have visited this "Cevicheria" several times during the last 3 months. I have always enjoyed the quality of the food and its very original concept. It is not a traditional cevicheria, I mean, not just a "peruvian" style cevicheria but also a mexican seafood restaurant which includes an inventive menu with excellent classic ceviches and also, which I truly... a nice place, maybe the only suggestion is the time for opening and closing, to early the closing time. Now some considerations: if you want to have some good food yes can be the place, by the way the placing in the classification from my point of view are not correct, in fact, in Mexico City there are a lot... Went here with a group of colleagues, and we ordered many different appetizers and shared them. I enjoyed all the plates, but unfortunately I don't recall which ones we ordered. I do seem to recall that the one I particularly enjoyed was the Acapulco dish. For my entree, I ordered Arroz con Mariscos, and it was delicious. I ordered one... More

This joint is popular with the foreigner crowd staying at the nearby hotels. I went there today guided by the TA reviews and was disappointed big time. The ceviche was chewy and both main courses we had - shrimp linguini and a mixed seafood grill - were bland and oily. Not sure what people see in this joint, one could... More

They offer multiple variations sure to please any palette along with other great seafood dishes. Our group easily spent a a couple very pleasant hours there between... More

Great location, Unique combinations, excellent quality small plates. The only danger for a celiac like me is getting carried away and trying friends' dishes! Had excellent seafood ceviche with a tomato type sauce, chilpachole carrot crab soup, and seared tuna but absolutely loved the esquites of shrimp with creamy corn sauce and the Pernod shrimp with potato (a recent invention... Just behind Hyatt hotel, fantastic place and a true gem (judging after rankings, apparently a shared discovery...). Do not get discouraged by the look, quite simple restaurant but amazing menu with all ways of serving raw, cooked or grilled fish. Ceviches are just outstanding (shrimp and mango, original and sweet; a typical lime coriander onion and fish one, traditional and... More

Not only more than a dozen different kind of ceviches ,they have also a good variety of apetizers (tostadas, tacos, aguachiles, good soups(chilpachole for example) and on the weekends "almeja chocolata(clam) and fresh oysters. For main course tuna and other fishes with diferent kind of sauces ( sweats & spices) .very good idea to have a kids menu. Service and prices in line.
