Beautiful Place. Lovely in al aspects.

So, I know this place for the past 4 years... The staff is really nice, the place is just like 10 tables big, the food is amazing, the Empanadas (meat, cheese, apple) are just great. Love this place...

As a Russian, I am usually very critical about the quality of Russian restaurants abroad when my friends take me there. It is so not the case with Kolobok. I have been there four times already, last time November 2014, and I keep coming back for more. Their food is really lovely, I would recommend it to everyone.

I primarily choose this restaurant because of location, price, and curiosity of Russian food. My daughter and I were both surprised that the food tasted great as well. We both placed the restaurant in the top two of our trip for flavor and service. We were Americans, in Mexico, eating Russian, and our waiter was a Mexican, serving Russian food,... More

It was a surprise to find Russian cuisine just like that, on the corner! Excellent food! Especially after travelling for such a long time, it's a nice change for the palate. Would come back once or twice a month!

I had never ventured to Santa Maria La Ribera. I always heard this was not a safe area of Mexico City and that, although beautiful, it was better to avoid. It is one of the first developed neighborhoods in Mexico City, one of the top choice for politicians and wealthy Mexicans back in the Porfiriato (or so they told me).... More

Just went to the Russian booth at the Fair of Nations on Reforma over the past weekend and Kolobok sponsored the booth ... the food was as good as ever. A few years back I went with a friend from the UVM which is close to the Santa María location and everything was delicious with good service. The soups are... More
