Very nice meal

We had an enjoyable meal here, the beef was delicious, cooked to perfection. The service was very good and the music was nice in the background.

We loved the atmosphere and the food. Food was a little over priced, but good. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We half expected Pancho to walk through the door at any moment. Seemed to be a place where expats and business crowd gather for drinks, conversation and good food. All-in-all; a place one should definitely visit when in the Alameda... More

There seem to be a lot of English speaking folks here and if you sit at the bar chances are good for striking up a conversation, Prices are sky high,

The minute I walked in I knew I wS in a history making spot. The place is gorgeous. The food delicious. The service impeccable. It's truly a must experience once in your lifetime kind of spot.i ate a splendid dinner of bacalou and had their tortilla soup-awesome, fresh, rich, delicious. The architecture is of a late 19th c style which... More

The inside architecture is unbelievable. Very ornate, about one hundred years old. Friendly, very Mexican service. Real typical Mexican food (not "tex-mex"). Legend has it that there is a bullet hole in the ceiling made by Pancho Villa. Very popular - better to make a reservation.

It's true that coming here you are swept away by its golden beauty and ambience of past glory that yet lives on. The food is beside the point, though a comida of huachinango and ternera

A wonderful bar that is elegant and full of atmosphere. Dark red and wood interior, friendly staff and good food - one doesn't really need to know more. We came here one night and really enjoyed it but just drank and then returned on our last night during our stay and had some enchiladas which were very tasty. We sat... More

Gorgeous surroundings if slightly crowded with tourists, the famous café where Pancho Villa's gun shot hole may still be seen is the perfect place for a cocktail served by appropriatly snotty waiters as if brought straight from the great cafes of Paris, recommended!

This is a very classic bar and restaurant. I stopped in for a a couple of beers and a mescal. The place was packed. They had a two man orchestra providing music - not too loud more for the sake of ambiance. This place just have so much of ambiance to it. It can't be explained, you just have to... More

You can't miss this cantina that keeps the same design as 100 year ago. It also keeps the bullet whole caused by Pancho Villa's gun. I thinks that the place is better than the food but you can still get a decent meal if you're hungry.
