Real Mexican!

This is the best place to have real and authentic Mexican food. It is all cooked with organic and fair trade ingredients. Everyday there is a special section that you will adore. Lunch or breakfast Nico's will sure make you a happy person

This is one of those little gems where you could really taste flavour and Mexican service. Little overpriced but the food and drinks are really , really good

1) Don´t draw conclusions of what you see. The place is modest but you will eat better than most fancy restaurants in London, Paris or NY (I have been around a little). Believe me, the menu looks normal but the flavor you will find, are the result of a careful planning and execution of traditional family mexican food. 2) Make... More

I went here for the chiles en nogada and I was not disappointed. They were huge and exquisitely prepared ... the other breakfast food was also excellent. The service was top notch and very friendly. The austere setting does not matter ... if you are looking for spot on, top end Mexican cuisine in the DF this place is highly... More

So far the best mexican food I´ve tasted in a restaurant in Mexico City. The food is delicious, has the quality and care of our cuisine, old and new. The service is excellent, the prices are fare and the location is good, not even you don't imagine from the ouside what is all about, but we never have to judge... More

I was taken to Nicos by my Mexican colleagues and they had warned me it might be the best food I have ever eaten in Mexico! They were not mistaken- the food is amazing and the service is very attentive. You would definitely not come here unless recommended as you would not be able to tell from the outside, but... More

I found Nicos to be one of the top restaurants in Mexico City. Reaching it is not easy. From the outside you can not guess that it is one of the bests in town. Mostly frequented by local and known customers, you have to make reservation in order to get in. Try the mezcal collection. Delicious. Also they have a... More

Agree with the preceeding posts. Located in a somewhat obscure neighborhood, you have to wonder where the mostly well-dressed and well-heeled clients come from in the middle of the day? We were lucky to get a table on a Monday afternoon without a reservation, it was bustling. The room is very simple, but comfortable, and you immediately get the sense... More

One of the best examples of traditional Mexican food. Hidden in a central but not to popular neighborhood lies Nico`s, a small and simple restaurant which hides one of the best selection of traditional recipes in town. Great staff and friendly service guide you to one of the most memorable eating experiences. Great Mezcal and Mexican wine selection to pair... More

Fantastic food, cooked in very traditional manner and served by friendly and attentive staff. A great value and a fantastic meal in central Mexico City.
