Looking for Indian taste in Mexico, then Dawat is best option amongst all. Food ( vegetarian, since I tried only veg) is very good, service is average & cost is also reasonable.

There aren't a lot of Indian places in Mexico City and Dawat has excellent food and delivery, which is great! I agree it is a little pricey, but this is Polanco where everything is expensive. I think the annoying part is that you have to order rice in addition to your dish - at most places in the U.S. for... More

I was tired of eating junk food on my trip before i reached Mexico. Did some research and Dawat stood out as an Indian restaurant in Mexico. I was not at all disappointed with the food. Good variety and great taste. Highly recommend chhole bhature and dal makhani..

We went here after seeing the high rating Dawat had on Google, but it was a mistake! Service was painfully slow, and the food was sub-par. We ordered a tomato soup and got something that tasted like sour Ketchup. Then, we had Daal Fry and Malai Kofta. The Daal Fry was okay to eat alone, but with roti or rice,... More

We decided to host a dinner for an Indian delegation that we led to prominent trade fair in Mexico City on 20th November 2014. One Mr Sagar from restaurant was co-ordinating with us. He quoted about 500 Mexican currency units plus 15% service charges for two vegetarian dishes, one pulao, raita and two Indian starters. Even onions (which in Indian... More

A decent Indian restaurant in entire Mexico, due to lack of any serious competition. But its too pricey, expensive than Washington and London restaurants.
