Contemporary Mexican at its best

We had a dinner here in March 2015. I have no complaints. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. If you love fish, you would love this place. Ceviche with swordfish, octopus salad, etc etc. Good wine list to goes with the great meal. Everything we had was great, including desserts, but... read more

This place has a really hip, modern interior, with a wood block wall and raw cement beams in the ceiling. We shared some appetizers- * Fish ceviche with cucumber and avocado * Orange salad with radish and flowers Both dishes very fresh, with the right amount of acid. For the main course, I had red snapper with cauliflower purée, kale... More

The cuisine is based of Baja California's (Mexico) dishes focused more on seafood. The attempt and accomplish in mixing ingredients that only grow locally such as salicornia known as de asparagus (a type of algae found only in Mexico a very few places in the world). You will find a fusion of flavours that not to many restaurants venture into.... More

Local to our hotel, we reserved a table on Monday night and had a fantastic high quality meal with fresh fish and meat's that each was outstanding. The bread with olive oil was so fresh and the swordfish to start was sensational. We then had canaolini of beef which was pure comfort food and then beef tongue and lamb as... More

Great modernized cuisine made from local Mexican ingredients. Food had good eye appeal and satisfied the taste buds. Decent wine selection. This restaurant is the favorite of a local friend of mine but it held less appeal to me. When I travel I am looking for something that would be hard to get anywhere else. I can appreciate why this... Walked in early Friday night. They were happy to seat me and my friend, who did not plan to eat. Service was well informed and friendly and let us try different wine before we chose. Everybody seems to have had beetroot salad, which I would be delighted to eat again and I too had the Milanese, which came with an... More

Very very good food! Every plate was presented very well, the flavors and prep were exquisite as were all of the ingredients from the chef's own farms in Baja ... the wine Ulloa (also from the chef's own vineyard in Tecate, BC) was excellent. The service was pretty good particularly taking into account that the place was packed. The minimalist... More

We had high hopes for this restaurant, whose tables were filled on a Sunday afternoon but the food was mixed. Excellent olive oil for the rustic bread, but the beet salad portion was small and one entree of eggplant and artichoke hearts was a total disappointment - indiscernible eggplant and bottled artichoke in a bland broth. Service and wine were... More

We don't think so. First off, the decor says, we don't care about making you feel special. While it's nice to look out on beautiful Avenida Amsterdam, the interior is a strange mixture of log cabin, low ceiling'ed 80s modern, and blond schoolhouse tables and chairs. Mexico City, especially this neighborhood, has a hip, sophisticated vibe, which this restaurant is... More
