We were pulled into this restaurant off of the street, and decided to give it a try. The food is quite expensive. The service, live music, and view were AMAZING. The food was ok.

We went to the Zocalo in Mexico D.F. to see how it was fixed with the tree and the skating rink. We roamed around and watched the skaters until it was time for dinner and went to eat at the Puro Corazon. There was no table left on the outside of the terrace so we took one in the center.... More

Despite the great view, do not go here. Just got a bill of $315... Paid with $500 and waiter came back to say I'd given him a $50. Confused as I was sure it was a $500 we paid again, but realised we had definitely paid with $500 after checking remaining cash. Went back to confront him and he was... More

the place is fantastic, great view etc etc. When we had to pay I paid with 2, 200 pesos bills and within 2 seconds the waiter changed one bill for a 20 and made a fuss. I paid the rest as this is the best to do in a situation like this. I just changed 150 Euro into 2400 pesos... More

Great Mexican food and service, with a view of the Zocalo. Even though this is one of the places hawked by guys waving menus at you on the street-level, it really is quite good.

Food is good, although not great. But the view is incredible, straight across the main square from the presidential palace. I had the stuffed Jalapenos, some if which were cold, then I had the Cochinito Pibil which was delicious, followed by dessert which was awful. So I would recommend dinner, enjoy the view, have a coffee, but skip the dessert.... More

They serve standard Mexican fare with some nice touches- chilaquiles, enchiladas, omelets made with huitlacoche. Nothing spectacular. You aren't going to come for an amazing meal. You are going to come for the great view of the cathedral and the Zocalo and to sit down and get out of the crowds for a bit. Relax on the balcony and gaze... More

Here dinner one evening. Staff speaks only Spanish, and is not very attentive. Food was of a poor quality. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner, also moderate quality. On the bill appeared also drinks from another table. With great difficulty explaining that they were ours. There was still no excuse made. The only positive is that you have... More

I had heard this place was really good so I checked it out one night. The view across to the cathedral is awesome but I have to say I was a little dissappointed in the food. I ordered the pibil, one of my favorite Mexican dishes. I received a good size bowl of the pork but it was very dry. They... More

Good selection of Mexican and international dishes. We had excellent service from our very friendly waiter. Fantastic view over the Zocalo, and reasonable prices.
