This restaurant has a very mixed set of reviews, so it comes down to expectation. We wanted somewhere that offered a relaxing and informal dining environment, excellent food, and friendly and attentive (but unintrusive) service - we found it all here at Santino's, and it beat other more upmarket Polanco establisments hands down. It was also excellent value. On the... More

If you want a casual dinner in the middle of the nicest street in Mexico this is the perfect place. It's cheap if you compare with other italians, but the pizzas are really good, the salads are big, and the martinis are excellent!

Right in the fancy neighborhood of Polanco, this restaurant looks like a modern trattoria and people who work do their best to give a good service. But.... as soon as you enter the very dark restaurant the music is at a unbearable volume, and it makes impossible to keep a conversation on the table. However, the really nasty part of... More

This is the second time we have been to the restaurant. The first time we were on the patio and had okay meals and good service. The second time round we were forced to eat inside due to all the smokers on the patio. Playing on big screen TVs throughout the restaurant was ""The Godfather 3"; we were forced to... More

While on a business trip, my colleague could not take any more Mexican food. The spices were upsetting his stomach, so he wanted to get Italian. We had walked past this restaurant before and it looked very cozy. We were not disappointed. Our food was delicious, the service was outstanding. I would definitely go there again.

Pizzas are ok here with a thin crust. Although the rucula they claim to be putting on the pizzas isnt rucula. Rest of the menu not very special. Located in polanco on the best known shopping street so traffic can be busy. Terrace outside. Good for a quick bite and a beer.

I love this place. The pastas are amazing, and they have great wines at affordable prices. I adore the mafia style decor! Best wooden fired pizza anywhere!!!
