I have enjoyed Astrid y Gaston several times and it was always outstanding. In this occasion the experience was very good but not as solid as always. The tuna main course - three styles of tuna- was unbalanced - too sweet in bits a bit sour in others. The ceviche with queso cotija was not as fresh as expected. The... More

We went there thanks to the advise of many friends, as it seems that this Restaurant is really good in different parts of the world, and we agreed with them now. We spend our anniversary night here with an excellent services from the waiters, who explained vigorously each plate and drink they served and recommend. They were always around but... More

We had lunch here and we're greeted by a stairwell of beautiful red poinsettias rising up to the restaurant. The food was delicious and we had the main course of risotto which was a true delight. The service was attentive but not obtrusive and I had no room for dessert but am sure it w ok'd have been as nice.... More

The TOP restaurant it's not only cuisine but also the atmosphere of marvel, waiting of something unusual and so. The net means standards, quality control and e.t.c. It's good but not enough to be on the top. This restaurant is fine, but so good like his name

The restaurant’s ambience is elegant (ideal for a romantic dinner, a special occasion, or a business lunch). I do suggest asking for a table in the terrace located upstairs. The service is what you should expect for a restaurant rated as one of the tops in Mexico City (“deferent” & extremely professional; but far from uniqueness). The wine list, the... More

First of all, I never made it to Astrid y Gastón in Lima, so I can’t compare. The restaurant in Mexico City was a last minute choice. I was all by myself and made reservations through their website for half an hour later and everything went fine. The ambience is great, fancy, classic and the service was excellent. I chose... More
