It is a good restaurant, the food is overall Peruvian but with a big Mexican twist. We were a little disappointed not to find authentic Peruvian but totally understandable because it is Mexico and the vegetables/ spices/ etc. are not the same. The desserts were very good. The service I felt was not as strong as I have seen in... More

We had great service, but offer was limited. Ordered from the menu and they were out of a dish and out of our wine choice. We picked the special for entree, recommended as delicious, and it was really disappointing...cold, flavours not defined. Not sure we'll come back.

The food is superb, the service is great, and you can be sure you are eating genuine Peruvian Food! I must say, however that prices are a on the higher end and that portion sizes tend to be smallish particularly when talking about sea food.

I was expecting a variety of ceviches and there were only 2 available. Not only did they not have a grand selectin but there were out of dorado and tuna fish. Service was good, prices are high, and food is not that great. Im not sure i would go back or recommend it at all.

Astrid & Gaston set the benchmark with its Lima restaurant, but unfortunately the Mexican version does not even come close. While the menu looks similar, the dining experience in Mexico is one you find in hundreds of restaurants, with decent food and regular service. Absolutely nothing like in Lima, where knowledgeable wait staff explains origins and history of your choices... More

The food is very good, but somehow less scrumptious than at the branches in Bogotá or Santiago de Chile (I have not been to Lima), especially and surprisingly the ceviches. This is a place for a leisurely meal, as dishes are slow to come out. Service is good but can be awkward at times. There are more supervisors and senior... More

The best restaurant, family's favorite. Delicious food, great service, pricy but worth it. It's an excellent experience from beginning to end

Having dined at Astrid y Gaston in Lima, I had some high expectations for this one in Mexico City - given the quality of the food we have eaten here...unfortunately it feel a bit short. This was for an anniversary, and so expected a wonderful experience taking us back to that food of Peru. The set-up in the restaurant was... More

Food is good, service is deficient, the head waiters don't understand service, they think they are the clients. I would not recommend it.
