Some things can improve

The food and service is good but there are very bad things too. The very used menu is broken and dirty. Even to take it in your hands is disgusting. For groups I think that would be necessary to offer a banquet hall as there was a table with about 30 people who were having very loud speeches and... read more

I decided to celebrate New Year's Eve at Brasserie Lipp with 2 other guests. The menu included five courses and the price was 1750 pesos, (around 100 USD). Highlights of the menu were the Royale de Fois Gras with Asparagus Creme and the Beef Filet with Wild Mushrooms. All culinary presentations were consistent and featured high quality ingredients. I truly... More

Great traditional French menu (grande brasserie-type menu) in Mexico City. Nice decor faux-debut-de-siecle, good service but not outstanding. We found the pace a bit slow especially with regards to the very small amount of customers. As mentioned, typical grande brasserie type menu so do not expect nouvelle cuisine, but good traditional staple, like foie gras, steak, sole, etc. They need... More

Ate lunch here recently and it was so vey good. We had the French Onmio soup and the chicken. Both were excellent! We ate on the terrace which was nice, but the docor inside was something else and you could have been in Paris,

More

Too much salt in the risoto from lunes menu. Does not transmit passion in the flavor. Easy to get a table available. The beverage did not even entered the refrigerator and only possible to drink with many ice.

We went there to celebrate my birthday. Service was very good, beverages were brought really fast and the quality of the food was superb. The only issue we had was the meat was over cooked and we felt items were over priced. Nice for a work dinner, not so great for a family plan.

If you had ever dined at Brasserie Lipp in Paris you would be surprised how they aceppted to have authorized the opening of a look alike branch in Mexico City. Nothing is worth to bear that ilustrious namesake. Eventhough the french name of meals are the same, nor the food neither the ambiance sligthly has a resemblance to the St... More

This restaurant located in the Hotel Area of Polanco has the perfect balance of ambience and superb food. I have been several times @Lipp and have always experienced an extraordinary meal. Don't miss the tuna tartare, the onion soup, the duck confit and the chocolate souffle. This options can be escorted by a magnificent option within Lipp's wine cellar.
