Awesome food, awful service

If I'm not mistaken, this is the same old Japanese restaurant that was here before Hyatt took over the Nikko Hotel. It had a different name then. Food remains good as ever. The fish is super fresh (although the Sushi bar had a slight whiff of fish odour, which is mayor no-no in any place that... read more

When we stay in Mexico city, we always stay in Hyatt, go to Yoshimi Japanese food. Sushi, Tempra and Udon is perfect.

ate here 2 nights in a row - night one they were hitting on all cylinders - food was good as was the service. second night the food was good and the service sucked. I was asked if I wanted coffee and handed an incorrect bill before my long delayed food had shown up. Go for the food but expect... More

This restaurant has very good Japanese food. I tried a lot for dishes and they were all tasty. It is a little over-priced, but not so much. The place is really nice and the service is good. If you are looking for good sushi go Yoshimi.

Gastronomic restaurant of Mexico Hyatt hotel and one of two Japanese restaurants on premises, Yoshimi looks very attractive when reading the menu but somehow falls short of expectations. The description of dishes is very interesting but the realization far from that, imprecise and almost, dare I say, fast food style. More importantly, the service is poor, all specific requests or... No one cared if we were there or not. It was late in evening and three of us from three countries would have enjoyed even a little attention. Staff had to be flagged to attend to us even when there were only six other tables in use. Menu was not explained and, in fact, there was no presentation of food... More

Our meal has ben nice twice. That's the point and that's the point. It is a bit expensive but very pleasant and the quality of the food is good. If you want a quiet place with good japanese food, you got it.
