The decor is simple, almost icy but when all the tables were taken, the restaurant glowed with colour and texture. Food offering was very good. Nothing overtly complicated and staff was very good in explaining what every dish had, but ultimately it comes to tasting your orders and when food arrived, I was not disappointed: exciting in a subtle and... Biko is a must for foodies that visit or live in Mexico City. There is nothing like it in the city! If you go, trust the waiter and the sommelier for the best suggestions... they will make your experience totally unforgetable!

Biko is Basque inspired molecular gastronomy from the Gaston & Aristide group. Less than full probably due to the massive road construction just meters from the door, the interior was serene with abundant people watching. But that doesn't mean the food doesn't command attention. First up was Foie Gras mousse--if that's not your thing please pass your plate to me.... More

Food every bit as good as that from your average one-star in London. An exceptional Margarita, a great tasting menu for about £50 (US$80) and all of the expected Mexican ingredients you would want in a local restaurant. Worth that splurge...

We have eaten in Biko many times since their opening and even though it still is one great restaurant due to it's excellent cuisine, the service is currently not up to the standard expected from one of the best rated restaurants in the world. It is my impression that the cheff owners are not currently paying enough attention to the... More

It is pricey but well worth it, Everything is excellent, so it makes it difficult to choose, The service is the absolute best. It is an unfirgetable meal and experience hard to forget, My opinion is that it is simply the best restaurant in Mexico CIty,

The meal was World Class. I could say the best food I've ever tried in any restaurant. The service was as good as the food. We also received personal attention from 2 of the 3 owner cheffs,Mikel and Bruno. Great overall experience, looking forward to come back soon.

Inspite of the major road work outside the front door of the Biko, it's well worth making the hike! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff most attentive and the food is wonderful! At the suggestion of the staff, we shared our salads and entrees. This was an excellent idea! The fish was fresh and very tasty. It's a wonderful choice.

We went to Biko with another couple and had a wonderful time. The food was simply amazing. One friend who had been to Biko numerous times ordered for the table so we had all her favorites. Two dishes were particularly memorable...the foie gras with cotton candy was creative and delicious and the pimento pepper was my favorite. Every course was... More

Don't get me wrong. The food was awesome!! All 6 of us had the 5-course Pre-fix menu it really was out of this world (I understand it changes periodically). The ambiance was very nice and the service was very good. However, the whole experience left wanting (or waiting) for more from a Top 50 restaurant in the world. Maybe because... More
