We had a booking on a Tuesday night and I have to say, having read the reviews, I was a little reserved about what to expect. I shouldn't have worried. The service was impeccable and they were exceptionally professional (for someone that's worked in high end corporate hospitality for over 10 years it matches up to some of the world's... More

We had a great meal with the tasting menu. We opted not to do the pairing, but ordered a bottle of wine instead. English translations were ok, but some of the details were missed in translation to English. Atmosphere was modern and overall the experience was very enjoyable.

I was soo excited to go to Biko because it was on the list of the best restaurants in South and Central America. Actually out of ten restaurants Mexico City had 3: Biko, Pujol and Quintolin. The premise of basque food sounded incredible. We made reservations for a monday. The restaurant is located in the very posh Polanco on Presidente... More

I've been taken there for a business dinner. We chose the "menu gustacíon", which offers six tiny courses carefully harmonized with six different sorts of wine. The courses (and wines) are all Spanish, but some with typical Mexican ingredients. I particularly liked the first harmonization -- foie, anana y anis, with vinho verde ("young wine") El Perro Verde 11. The... More

Ordered the gustacion menu. They offered 6 courses. If you don't care for a course they'll gladly replace it. Which happened to one of the seafood dishes. Was flavorless and tasted like water. The service is excellent and any issues weren't a problem such as requesting another offering. Portions are small but left satisfied. This isn't California Pizza KItchen so... More

The restaurant was beautifully designed and fit right into the Rodeo Drive like neighborhood. The food was exceptional, the wine list extensive, and the service excellent.

Came to Biko for a special dining experience. Although presentation was inventive; selection, preparation, seasonings, meat and fish were nothing special. No English menus and waiter tried but seemed unable to explain menu well. Don't understand why this place is so highly rated. Extremely expensive for what it was. I am willing to spend money for a special dining experience... More

This is the sad state of older top restaurants today. New cuisine from 8 years ago still trying to be relevant. If you're a foodie - avoid it! Food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great and for the price and the attitude you expect a lot more. Realizing this is one of Mexico Citie's top restaurants we were very surprised... More

The whole food was delicious. The breads, starters, and the main courses. Try the cereal, olives, and fruits breads, they were really good. We ordered dishes to share. For starters, the crab and the duck with peppers were delicious. For main course, the fungi fish was amazing. For our taste, "Platos de hoy" are better than "Platos de Antes"! Service... More
