During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.

The place is amazing, it is an old hacienda but very well maintained and luxuriously decorated. The food and drinks were very good, I had tacos and chiles en nogada with lots of tequilas and margaritas. To conclude, we could pick our dessert from a trolley full of cakes. Everything was delicious and came in beautifully arranged plates. We had... More

Hacienda de los Morales belonged to the cuevas Family for generations. Many.. MANY years ago they turned it to a restaurant/ convention center ideal for weddings, large meetings and it's classic restaurant. The gardens are beautiful, the convention/wedding rooms are large enough to hold events of over 1,000 people. The restaurant is a fusion of classic with modern Mexican cuisine... More

It's one of the classic choice to take out of towners. It was one of the great Haciendas in Mexico City. The atmosphere is out of this world. You can't believe you are in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world. Food and drinks are excellent.

We had a great dinner experience at the Haciendas. It offers a country experience stuck in the middle of Mexico City. Good service, tasty food. They were able to serve escalopes and guzanos; much appreciated.

We went as a large (20 or so) business dinner and it was perfect, the best place we ate in Mexico City. The food was creative and top-notch.

I was in Mexico City for a team meeting and our farewell dinner was held at Hacienda de Los Morales. Located in a very urban neighborhood, it's hard to image that the Hacienda was once a silk worm plantation in the mid-1600's! The hacienda has been restored and offers a variety of types of dining rooms. Upon arrival there are... More
