The restaurant is in a former Hacienda, yet in a relatively centric location. The entire Polanco neighborhood ( and more) used to be part of the Hacienda territory. Once you step in you are transported in time to the early 20th century. Before heading to the main dining room, seat at the lobby and order drinks, then ask to take a... More

This is a great place to organize all kinds of meetings, reunions, parties, etc. The food is great and the service is excellent. Some of our friends organized birthday parties and baptisms. I particularly recommend celebrating Mexico Independence Day (Sep 15th) here, as they organize an excellent celebration dinner with a small 'kermese'. You would need to purchase your tickets... More

The Hacienda is a genuine and rather grand farmhouse that sold off its land to form the smart suburb of Polanco. It has been a spectacular restaurant for many years and offers smart dignified and charming service with strolling Mexican minstrels. The menu is traditional classic Mexican - meaning a bit heavy but quite tasty and the best list of... More

I live in Mexico City and this is the place where I take visiting foreign guests who think Mexican food is the same as some of the fast food brands they see in the US and beyond. The restaurant has a ton of history dating back hundreds of years and was a working hacienda. The grounds and main building are... More

Beautifull Hacienda with delicious food, soups are very good, and fish and meat too. Service is excellent. If you arrive before your reservation time, you can enjoy some drinks in a lovely elegant bar. Excelent for business and for pleasure too.

Dining here was a trip down memory lane for me. I used to go here to eat in the 70s.This is an old hacienda that at one time owned all the land around it,now mostly highrises. The hacienda retains its charm down to the torches at the front gate. We were seated in the courtyard, now glass covered to enjoy... More
