We arrived in mid afternoon, too late for lunch and too early for dinner, but the wait staff at the restaurant were very gracious and seated us anyway, then treated us to an exceptional meal that started with shrimp and caviar, progressed through tenderloin medallions and end with a rich parfait, all washed down with an excellent Mexican wine recommended... I confess I wasn't so excited to go there, because it seemed like a tourist trap. But it was a surprise for me, the band was great, the place is beautiful and the waiters very helpful and kind. The appetizers were good, better than the entres. My mother in law ordered a fish that was ok, my husband and father... More

We hosted a customer dinner in a private room. The food was amazing. I had the camarones (shrimp) and they were fantastic. For desert, I had the flan. It was the best I have ever had. The hacienda is beautiful in atmosphere. There was a guitar player serenading a couple in the main dining room. We paid 9500 pesos for... More

When visiting Mexico City, on business or visiting, this is the kind of place where you can highlight your stay. Right in a great location since it's very close to the main hotel area, you will find a beautiful and cozy atmosphere. Based in what use to be an important house from a old school "Hacienda" or Ranch whose history... More

We arrived with Mexican business associates and enjoyed tequila and Sangrita in the patio area. The hacienda is beautiful and it is worth it to explore the various rooms before eating. Check out the beautiful silver espresso machine at the bar. Great service and dinner selections. They really prepare beef well in addition to a number of Classic Mexican dishes.... More

This is a traditional restaurant serving international cuisine, but having Mexican plates as their specialty. It is located in one of the best areas in Mexico City in what used to be an old Hacienda. It definitely is worth going. Not a tourist trap and the prices are reasonable.

If you visit Mexico City and do not have a cullinary experience at "La Hacienda de los Morales", then you have missed one of the most unique mexican experiences in Mexico City. For years, La Hacienda de los Morales has been a must-visit place for tourists, but the real magic of this place is that this restaurant is still one... More

The restaurant is in a former Hacienda, yet in a relatively centric location. The entire Polanco neighborhood ( and more) used to be part of the Hacienda territory. Once you step in you are transported in time to the early 20th century. Before heading to the main dining room, seat at the lobby and order drinks, then ask to take a... More

This is a great place to organize all kinds of meetings, reunions, parties, etc. The food is great and the service is excellent. Some of our friends organized birthday parties and baptisms. I particularly recommend celebrating Mexico Independence Day (Sep 15th) here, as they organize an excellent celebration dinner with a small 'kermese'. You would need to purchase your tickets... More
