During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.

Great restaurant! The setting is beautiful and the food is top quality. Service tends to be superb too. On the downside, it can be pricey.

From the minute I drove up I was impressed, with each room more beautiful than the last. The ambiance is very romantic and the sounds of the quartet were gorgeous. We had the goat cheese puffed pastry, serrano ham wrapped cantaloupe, seafood paella, carne asada la tampiquena and chocolate cake. I absolutely loved every bite!

I travel to Mexico City at least once a year and I have been doing so for the past 20 years and not one single time I have missed visiting Hacienda de Los Morales. It is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole area of Mexico City. The old hacienda building is devine, the restaurant atmosphere fantastic and the... More

This is a wonderful Hacienda in a wonderful part of the city. It's also a great venue for large parties, which seem to be their specialty. Unfortunately the meals were only average. Perhaps because of the popularity of this restaurant it's difficult to make a lot of exceptional meals at one time, but the food was, at best average.

We were receiving the COO of our company and our GM picked that place which was perfect for such event. The place is huge, the food was good and typically Mexican albeit less hot, probably to accommodate the taste of the few Europeans who were there, me included. The service was efficient, everything has been very well orchestrated.

Huge restaurant/banquet facility in old homestead. Multiple large rooms for events. Service was attentive & plentiful - food was Mexican banquet food - just ok. Nice outdoor verandas for cocktail hour. Great for large groups/ events.

We had lunch on a Saturday at the Hacienda de los Morales. This old hacienda is a truly nice place with many rooms of different sizes. We were seated in courtyard with roof. There were several parties (baptism, wedding, etc) going on at the same time, but due to the distribution of the different rooms, the groups were pretty much... More

Amazing place. Went for dinner with clients. Open air area for cocktails and snacks, then into the dining room for dinner. The masonry work is beautiful. Started with cheese and pancetta. Dinner was the grilled shrimp, they were huge and cooked perfectly. If you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it.
