Beautiful place. It´s not the food, it´s the beauty of the restaurant. It´s somewhat difficult to find. This kind of restaurant is mainly for large groups. It is a great place for a wedding reception, for example.

We have had lunch here a couple of times but this was really a joke. We ordered a risotto with lobster and it was uneatable it was like swallowing a big mouthful of sea. Beyond salty. We told the waiter that we couldn’t eat it. They took away the plate and asked if we wanted anything else, we told them... More

Driving up to Hacienda Morales gives you the impression that some good eats are about to happen. The bar and lounge area are top notch and I would even recommend starting your night on the town here for drinks and hor d oeuvres. Then go somewhere else to eat. The meat we were served with the exception of the Suckling... More

My niece's wedding was held at the Hacienda de los Morales, last weekend. It's a beautiful location and the service was great.

traditional and neat place in Hidalgo. An ancient and huge farm house converted into a bar and restaurant but with modern food accent. Try the pork (very smooth) and a very nice local wine chart.

I had in December and excellent lunch with food and service in this landmark restaurant. In a trip with my wife, I recommended to visit again now in February. Service was poor, erratic. Almost half an hour to have the chance to order drinks, the appetizers never arrived (but were included in the check). Looking at other reviews, they have... More

Several colleagues recommended that we dine here and I finally made it - I have to say it is worth a special trip just to visit this lovely property: a hacienda in the middle of the busy city. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed an appetizer of chapulines (grasshoppers) in a delicious tortilla with salsa and guacamole which was a... More

I have been a great fan of la Hacienda de los Morales sonce I can remember. Maybe the biggest. It used to be one of Mexico City's landmarks and perhaps the best place to eat in town. For years, la Hacienda has hosted people from all around the world (specially from the US) when visitting Mexico City. In fact, I... More

I was actually here in 2011. In a city where street food is outstandingly delicious, this fine dining restaurant takes Mexican cuisine to a stratospheric level. We were here for an official state function, so we received a tour of the estate and the historical background of the various rooms and buildings. There are multiple rooms for dining so one... More
