The food is great, they have a large selection of wines and the service is excellent. The restaurant is quiet which is rare for Mexico City. This is an upscale restaurant and the decorations and music make for a unique experience. The food is expensive in comparison to other restaurants but in my opinion it is worth it. Will visit... My parents took me here the firt time as a child. Not a bad restaurant, but it is like being in the 1970's. Nothing new, all kind of old fashioned and boring. Food dull, decor dull, waiters have seen it all, owner inherited the place and his new Bistro is a flop so he is frustrated. It may be time... More

A lovely quiet restaurant to share good food in a TRANQUIL space, efficient wait staff that is at hand, but doesn't intrude. Even has live soft music. Menu selections varied enough for everyone. Up to date food combinations without being wierd ¿understand? Enough space and quietud for a conversation in the heart of Mexico City. They have duck and do... More

Enjoy a very good cousine, while you experience an old atmosphere of a great well maintained victorian house. The restaurant keeps cooking a great onion soup and some other traditional dishes from their menu. I would not recommend to come with small children and make a reservation for a better experience.

This is a very elegant traditional restaurant in a beautiful house (ask for a tour). The service is unobtrusively excellent and a pianist and violinist add atmosphere. The food is very good, but not quite excellent; however the overall experience is first rate.

There's something very gratifying about a restaurant that's been around a long time doing what it's always done all the while maintaining its standards. My sense is that this is very hard to pull off and getting harder all the time. But that's what you get here. Lovely room in a converted Victorian. Experienced staff who exude attachment to an...
