This is a very elegant traditional restaurant in a beautiful house (ask for a tour). The service is unobtrusively excellent and a pianist and violinist add atmosphere. The food is very good, but not quite excellent; however the overall experience is first rate.

There's something very gratifying about a restaurant that's been around a long time doing what it's always done all the while maintaining its standards. My sense is that this is very hard to pull off and getting harder all the time. But that's what you get here. Lovely room in a converted Victorian. Experienced staff who exude attachment to an... Les Moustaches, is a Classic, with plenty of tradition in Mexico City, very well run. Your are always greeted by the owner or his able manager when you arrive. It's very well located, next to the US Embassy, a beautifully renovated home, it's elegant and charming, with a staircase that leads to a second level, where they also have more... More

Les Moustaches was a superb example of a fine dining experience. Service is impeccable! We started wit french onion soup and a salad. Both were excellent! The main dishes are out of this world. The duck is the best I have had in recent memory. The beef was fantastic too! The sauce was tasty but not overpowering. The beef was... More

Went here for dinner the other night. The interior is well decorated, and I had fun counting the pieces of silverware that were placed on and removed from the table throughout the meal. The garlic calamari were flavorful but salty. The spinach salad was pretty good, however I doubt I'll remember it in a month. My dining partner's duck was... More

the best part of "Les Moustaches" is indeed the excellent staff and the attention. The food is OK, but don;t expect a 4 star michelin. It's good but it's not the best french cuisine you'll ever have. an enjoyable place however.

I went to a business meeting in Mexico City and stayed at Marriott Reforma, and when making decision of where to have dinner I found in Tripadvisor Les Moustaches.
