The food was very good and well-presented. But the service marred all of that. The co-owner, who introduces himself as Mohammed’s brother, greets our group of three, asking if we had ever been to a Lebanese restaurant before. Now, we may have come from Michoacan, but we didn’t fall off the turnip truck. We order wine, and he upsells us... More

Having come from a Lebanese family, I can vouch that this is by far the best lebanese restaurant in Mexico city. The service is great, the owner is a wonderful host, and the taste, texture and portions of the food are perfect. The bread is freshly oven baked and served warm, and merits a visit just to try it. Walked in at 520 pm on a rainy Sunday and ordered a lot of entrees. The owner walked outside and asked us to come in and try at the restaurant. Needless to say the place is superb!!! Entre main course and dessert to die for. Falafel and humus a must!!!

El Jamil is located in the Condesa neighborhood, with a great corner location that makes people watching a professional sport. The food is great, with none of the dry reheated texture of so many Lebanese places. The pitas come out hot and fresh, a perfect partner to the variety of dips on offer. The management takes pride in this restaurant,... More

The presentation of the food is lovely. Authentic humus accompanied by fresh pita bread. The rack of lamb was very tender, perfectly seasoned. We smoked a little apple hookah after finishing our delicious meals. A perfect way to end this exquisite food.

Very nice atmosphere, decent service, great food. I especially like dining with a selection of small dishes (hummus, baba ghanoush, etc.) There are tables inside and on the side-walk. The latter are pet-friendly. Water pipes are available as well.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by coincidence while wandering around Insurgentes and didn't expect too much initially. However, I was astonished by the authentic menu, fresh and delicious taste and lamb meat of high quality. The freshly prepared mint lemonade itself is a reason to go here. Last year I visited Lebanon and having the food there in mind I... More

I had a craving for hummus and Lebanese food so decided to try this place in La Condesa after having passed by it several times. It was sort of disappointing... Street food in Beirut and overall Lebanon outrates by far the food at this place, so since I was expecting a good if not great Lebanse meal, I got only... More

Probably the best meal we had this trip into D.F. Very conveniently located near our favorite B&B (Red Tree House) we were delighted with the chicken dishes, hummus, felafel, and baklava.
