Beautiful interior

We had to visit this renown place in the street of Tacuba. While breakfast might be better at other restaurants, it is the interior of this old convent that makes a visit so special. Sit and enjoy as also locals come for breakfast on a Sunday.

Good, but the waitress was not looking to help us. She was on a corner of the restaurant, doing apparently nothing else than waiting for the time to pass. Another guy did all the job for her, but our tip had to go to her...

Everybody from our friend/guide to the taxi drivers recommended this place and swore by it. The restaurant is like taking a step back and finding yourself in a previous era. The ambiance was great. The food however was very dissapointing after so much hype. And a little overpriced on a quality per dollar evaluation.

This restaurant is a classic place to visit at the center of DF. Pretty near of the Cathedral and the Templo Mayor, you can enjoy a typical Mexican food with the traditional Mexican singers. Get the stairs inside and make a tour into the beauty of the building.

Please don't miss this place, its good but not great. We ordered three plates and they were good. Service is outstanding and for all people out there who want to try Mexican food without the "hot" factor you cant miss it. Its a couple of blocks away from El Zocalo.

The place is very nice but the food was average. It is a nice place and they play live music. We went on a Sunday and it was very crowded; that may be the reason why the food was average.

Incredible on all fronts. Live Mariachi, food, ambiance, service was excellent. Dined here several times with a number of people. Tamales wrapped in banana leaves were excellent, but then, everything was.
