Great place

It is in the heart of the city center very historic, We had 30 people for dinner and they did a fantastic job of keeping the drinks coming! We had many dishes on the menu and they were all fantastic!! The shrimp pizza was amazing!! The wine list was very good,

My partner and I made our reservation following a recommendation. The restaurant itself is well situated and has a super mural of a chef high on one wall. So far nothing to disappoint! The menu appeared confused, with bizarre combinations of ingredients a feature of most dishes. When our food arrived, it confirmed our fears. My food was arrived jumbled... More

Even if you don't like Italian food you will find the building and decor fascinating. It is a 400 year old structure just a block off the Jardin. The six of us enjoyed different meals so we gave the kitchen a good workout. We enjoyed pizza, spaghetti, fettuccine, enchiladas, and salmon. There was a large Mexican birthday party near us... Dropped in and was surprised at the quality of the food and the service. I had a Seafood Molcajete that came covered with a layer of dough that was baked as part of the dish. The dough kept the heat in and was a tasty extra to sop up the sauce in the seafood. It was made with a white... More

This was not the first time I visited this restaurant and based on all my experiences it will not be my last. It has a very small patio but allows for you to enjoy a meal and watch the people walk by. I would highly recommend the Portobello Polenta appetizer. I am not a Polenta fan but I find myself... Came here for a Bday dinner with friends. Spacious feeling with a high ceiling. Ambient lighting with nice, simple decor. Good service. Menu is of salads, traditional mexican dishes, meat and fish dishes...but the pizza! May not think pizza as a good dining experience but here it is! Margaritas are strong and in quite the huge glass! Prices slightly higher... More

One of the best restaurants in Guanajuato. Just half block from the Jardín Unión, with very good meat. The salmon was also great.

We've passed by La Capellina on a daily basis thinking, oh, let's try it, and then not. But we were told they had great seared tuna, and we were craving fresh pescado. The fish is said to be flash frozen. 3 of us ordered the Asian seared tuna with interesting veggies--jicama, cucumber, red onion, carrot, green pepper and pineapple, in... More

Very nice service, and food was great. Well worth a try, and the best restaurant I found in my two weeks in Guanajuato.

Stopped and took a seat at this small Italian cafe on the sidewalk. We had wonderful onion soup with a wonderful salad with strawberries, raspberries, cashews, mushrooms and a delicious dressing with fresh French bread and a great glass of Merlot. Service and food were excellent an also the strolling university kids.
