Right on the Plaza Jardin, in front of the Teatro Juarez. Great for people watcing if you sit outside. The enchiladas are excellent. Ask for extra mole sauce to make them more juicy.

Order Arrachera tacos at Casa Valadez! They are wonderful and are served with beans, cilantro and onions. I ordered these twice as well as fresh Mahi Mahi on a third evening. Julie ordered Molcajete with shrimp (a fondu, queso fundido type dish) salad and empanadas on our three visits to this very nice restaurant on the Jardin of Centro Guanajuato.... More

Although the waiters were a little stiff and formal, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was beautiful and great for people watching. The meal was top notch and would highly recommend this place.

Despite not feeling very hungry and having to work our way through a Spanish language menu with a little help from the waiter and restaurant manager we managed to order and eat two very fine chicken dishes.

A great way to spend an afternoon is to have comida and sip some wine. Our lunch was good, but the service even better

Like many restaurants, it depends which chef is on duty. We saved this restaurant for our last night in Guanajuato, a Monday night. The service, atmosphere and food presentation were all excellent however it is the food that really makes a top restaurant. Unfortunately, the sauce that came with the Mahi Mahi lacked flavor, was totally bland and did not... More

Delicious and huge meals! Authentic Mexcian food and served either on the side of the jardin where everything is happening or indoors for a little "peace." Service is good and a chance to practice your Spanish. Great place to be for all the fun at night along the jardin!

Had breakfast there over the week we stayed and it was delicious. Sit on the outdoor tables to enjoy the view. Service is also amazing. Highly recommended

This is an elegant restaurant, in front of Teatro Juarez and the Jardin Union. On a tour of Guanajuato, our guide, Freddie, brought us here. Although it was 11:30 am, we were only offered the breakfast menu. Our waiter and the table captain were very attentive, quickly bringing a basket of breakfast sweet breads. Our entrees did take a while... More

A friend of ours reviewed this restaurant a few years back and its location right on the corner of the Jardin de la Union was appealing. We had an enjoyable dinner one evening and then had a breakfast coupon from our hotel two days later. Both experiences were memorable with good service and properly prepared entrees. We will definitely return... More
