We were very disappointed in the food as well as the service. The night we visited they had a large group in the courtyard hence perhaps our being a minor distraction.

We went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. It was too cold for the patio, but inside was comfortable and the food and service were very good. Prices are high, particularly for Guanajuato.

This is a quaint, out of the way restaurant with an interesting menu. Very nice setting. The home baked bread, serrano ham, cheese and olives were delicious. The bread is fresh and sumptuous. The arroz with baby suckling pig was quite tasty. The baby suckling pig meat dish was a bit too fatty and not cooked crispy. The sauce was... More

We got to eat lunch outdoors on the beautiful patio in the shade. They were not very busy, so we had several waiters to attend to our every request. One of the best margaritas I've ever had was brought to me by a charming elderly waiter who took great pride in setting an example for the younger servers. Wonderful selection... More

Wonderful ceviche, seafood tacos, rack of lamb, and duck in mole. The ant eggs were nothing special or even unusual tasting. The atmosphere was also very nice with pleasant live music unobtrusively in the background.

We just stopped here for appetizers and had the salad with the Serrano ham that was wonderful. The chef takes pride in his garden. He was watering by hand the entire length of our stay.

We went here for a late Sunday lunch. Extensive menu only in Spanish, which challenged us, but they had one waiter with good English who came to our aid. The three of us started by sharing the empanadas with cheese and smoked marlin, which were fantastic. We then shared the salad of roasted vegetables, which was tasty with a lovely... More

I convinced the restaurant to do a 12-course tasting menu for me, even though usually you need at least a day or two notice. I basically told them to give me the dishes that they were most proud of, and pair it with beer or wine - whatever they felt was appropriate. 3 hours later, I emerged very full, and... More
