Beautiful spot and good lunch

We ate her twice for lunch, and both time really enjoyed the food - quiche, salads, ratatouille, pesto pasta - and setting, of course! Plaza San Fernando is my favorite plaza in Guanajuato! Service was friendly and they were very accommodating for our kids food preferences!

My hotel was located very near Plaza San Fernando - and Cafe Bossa Nova is at the top of the plaza. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a meal, a snack or simply read a book in the afternoon sipping a glass of wine, Cafe Bossa Nova is your kind of place. Don't let the name... More

I think this is cafe #5 in the Plaza. It is always fun and you get to view it all from Cafe Bossanova. This week everyone is having their buildings painted. We had a ham and cheese crepe and a mushroom and cheese crepe. Both had an interesting sauce. No problems like Fernando G had in the previous review.

I usually don't write reviews here, but after a terrible experience, I had to. The food was absolutely inedible: awful crepes and cheap instant hot chocolate. To top it off, when the check arrived, I noticed they had charged me 50% extra! I complained to the waiter, who fixed it immediately. We payed the fixed check, and were about to... More

I'm picky about my crepes, and I must say that Café Bossa Nova didn't disappoint. I got the mushroom crepe with limonade for a drink, and my daughter ordered a Nutella crepe. Delicious! The portions were HUGE and the price was affordable. It has my vote for the best limonade in Guanajuato.

One would expect Brazilian food by the name. Nope. Mostly a crepe and pannini place. Both the savory and the sweet crepes are very good. Best part is the people watching, It is located in San Fernando Plaza, which became my favorite plaza in Guanajuato during my recent one month stay studying Spanish. Mostly outdoor seating. Service is good and... More

I had a tasty spinach crepe, my husband had a delicious ham sandwich with side salad. Good lemonade, decent coffee.

For what seemed to be an assuming little café bossanova offers some of the best cappuccinos and frappe in Guanajuato. Located in the back of plaza de San Fernando, it is open to the whole square and tons of people watching. I have yet to try the crepes but was assured by friends that accompanied months they were equally fantastic.... More

We ate here with kids and friends and very much enjoyed the Tree filled plaza setting. Nice salad and crepes. Had paella but was so so.

The activity in the plaza, with music and some folks dancing, as well as local dogs and children playing, helped compensate for so-so food and so-so service. We had better dining experiences at the other restaurants in Plaza San Fernando.
