The bridge is the teaser, the inside the deal

We had been walking under the bridge for weeks, but today we walked up the ramp and experienced the restaurant for lunch. We were encouraged to sit inside and leave the table of four places for others. Inside there is a lot of room. We had a nice table for two by the window. We had an excellent... read more

After passing under the bridge every day while walking into town, and on the recommendation of friends, we finally decided to have breakfast here. We just automatically sat outside on the bridge and it wasn't until after we had ordered that my husband looked inside and saw the rest of the restaurant. Which he also liked. We had one order... A really tasty start to the day. It was our first day here so it took a while to find, but came recommended by the person we were staying with. It didn't disappoint. We had Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Aztecas (excuse my spelling if I got them wrong) and they were simple but delicious. The Mango Agua Fresca and Choc/banana... More

After crossing under their bridge for for 3 weeks I finally decided to give Cafe Santo a try for lunch. The service was good, but the quality of that days special was average at best when compared to many other establishments in the city. What made this cafe unique though was that you can dine on the patio/ bridge that... More

when my chicken qasadia arrived, there were three of them; a lot of food. They looked bland but they tasted delicious and all that came with them was guacamole. At home I expect salsa and sour cream sides to make it complete but here those aren't necessary. How do they do it? And so cheap! the greeting was super, the... More

The food is not overly impressive, but I've come here a lot and it's always good. The service is great, and they are always willing to help. Sitting on the bridge on a nice day bumps up the rating no matter the food. At night the drinks are good and it's a good place to socialize with friends.

First of all, the location is lovely! The prices are great, too. They have a good variety on their menu.. from yummy Mexican food to pasta and burgers! Oh and if you're Vegetarian or vegan, this place is perfect! They have amazing Soy Burgers! They also have this delicious Portbello Mushroom baguette. You can also order soy milk instead of... More

We crossed the bridge to enter this cute restaurant. We would have enjoyed eating on the bridge, except that this is where people could smoke cigarettes - and the outside seats had no backing. But "no problem" - the inside of the restaurant is lovely, with beautiful photos of the city displayed on the walls. We sat right by an... More

Puente Campanero is a cute little, colonial Bridge in downtown. On the bridge, is Santo Cafe. Order Sol – popular Mexican beer – or Corona. Food is not very costly here. Have the local dish Miner’s Enchiladas, while watching people walk below the bridge and the far away narrow streets or Puente Campanero the painted houses. When we were at... More

I had lunch at this place and chose the daily special which was lasagna. The dish was ok but nothing special. Will not go back for food but will go back for drinks.
