Tasty Mexican Food in a relaxed area

Food was very good, you have to try the Suaves and the Mole Verde. We went there with my baby girl and she loved it too. Service was very good, too. I would strongly advise to sit outside, facing the street...you'll know why when you get there.

Had my friend Doyle take us to a wonderful restaurant today, were we happy we ate there. Stopped into Lindo y Sabroso for a bowl of soup....seeing that it has been raining here lately soup sounded appropriate. The posole soup was the best I have ever had.....full of fresh chicken and avocados...now pace yourself with the chili, it was hot.... More

I went into this restaurant when I first arrived in Guanajuato. I went at about 7:30pm and the place was completely empty. The two waiters looked at me as I entered and went on talking to each other. NEITHER ONE made any effort to acknowledge my presence. After standing waiting for a table for over 20 minutes, I walked out.... More

We had lunch here on the recommendation of our B&B owner. The breaded fish was fantastic and the accompanying salad and fries were awesome. This was the best meal I have had in the month we have been in Mexico!

After visiting the Olla Reserv.oir and walking back down through the park, we stopped at this beautiful restaurant for lunch. The entre's foreign all four of us were delicious. It was fun to sit on the front porch and watch all the kids headed for home from the LaSalle Institute.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. I had fajitas and they were very good. The margarita was one of the best I've had. Our waiter was great, and when he recommended we try the corn ice cream for dessert, we didn't hesitate. I loved it! We were staying in the center (Hotel Antiguo Vapor) and took a taxi to the... What a beautiful room and attentive service! The food was great, although it was a bit expensive. Well worth going out of the centro for.

Many people seemed in awe or this restaurant...told it was a "a must. About a 20 minute walk from Centro, or take the bus up. Charming neighborhood. Patio seating for street watching. Menu was fairly typical and though the food was good, I didn't understand the rave reviews, and it's a bit pricier than for equally good food. Service was... More

This restaurant is not right in the "centro" of GTO but well worth an invigorating walk, a $3 cab ride or less or a $0.50 bus ride. Walked by on a planned walk the day before and saw what looked like an incredible Sunday buffet. Our plan to return proved to be a most gratifying dinner experience. A great atmosphere;... More

We had dinner here twice, and left happy both times. The restaurant is in what must have been a house, so there are several smaller rooms, the street side patio and a great interior courtyard to dine in. There is no formal wine list, but when we asked for vino tinto, both times our waiter brought an armful of good... More
