Good food, good value

A teeny bit off the main drag this restaurant offers decent food, large portions at a very reasonable price in a quirky and appealing setting. The service was pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

Located a block or so from the main square, has good authentic Mexican food, well prepared and great service. Prices much more reasonable than the places around the plaza.

This was one of the few places open on new year's day. The place was surprisingly good. Not very flexible with the kitchen but plain good.

Went there with my family while traveling, we liked it. We were the only tourists when we came in, which we took as a good sign. The service was decent, the food tasted authentic and homemade and unbeatable prices. All the dishes were quite spicy! It's about a block from the main street that leads to the main square where... This is a very fine place. The service is excellent and attentive. For some reason they don't seem to be very busy often, so the food comes quickly. The Arechera was the best I've had anywhere--thick, tender, flavourful and juicy. Vaya ahora!

Great eggs, great fruit salads, and great breakfast fare overall. The banana pancakes are delicious. The coffee, however, is awful--surprisingly so! But if you get coffee elsewhere, this is the best breakfast palce we found. Affordable prices, great service, lovely décor!

Casa Ofelia is a cozy little place in central Guanajuato, and offers both Mexican and Italian food. The decoration includes a lot of crosses and dia-de-los-muertos-themed decor, which gives the place a very unique atmosphere. The service was great and the food was delicious, making this a good choice for lunch or dinner in Guanajuato.
