For great ambiance, great food, good wine, and a very friendly staff, this is the place to go. The menu covers all the traditional Mexican dishes, and the ones we tried were excellently prepared and presented. While the food is worth going for, the friendly atmosphere is what made the place. The waiters were not only friendly, but were also... More

Ofelia's interior is all the bright colors of Mexico. Carved and brightly painted chairs and artisanal folk art on the walls. Perfect for breakfast - best fresh squeezed orange juice.

Near the Jardin and Basilica. Went there for dinner, good size restaurant with all the various Mexican motifs and decor, but done well. Good menu as well as prices. Food was very good, and was impressed served with comp chips and salsa (picante!). Staff attentive and strong wifi, what more can you ask for!

We had a breakfast combo which was delicious; chilaquiles, fresh fruit with chili powder, coffee and juice. Excellent prices, nothing fancy, very nice place. Go early in the morning to have the first batch of chilaquiles and the whole place to yourself.

I loved how this restaurant was decorated. The service was great and the food was very good. I ordered carne asada, forgetting that I don't care much for beef in Mexico and the meat reminded me why. It's tough and stringy. By all means go there but order something else!

Our innkeeper recommended that we try this place, and boy were we glad we did! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was excellent!! We had fish with cilantro sauce and chicken sopes, and both were delicious! The portions are huge, and packed with flavor! It was not busy when we came for dinner, but don't let the empty... More

We had a late lunch here and it was one of our favorites. I had the tosdados and my wife had enchiladas. They were both very good. We got out of there for 275 pesos, two entrees, two beers, soda and juice and a child's plate. It is near the main square near the Italian coffee shop off a side... More

Basic food, reasonable prices, ok service, typical atmosphere. Seating is on hard chairs but not uncomfortable. Locals eat here. We did not return.

We had both a lunch and a breakfast here. The title of the review says it all - better quality food than you get around the Plaza de la Paz (for sure) or the Jardin de la Union (unless you are at one of the really expensive places on the latter) but nothing memorable, and not a bargain either. Lunch... More
