Don't take a 80 peso taxi ride to get there, it's not that good. OK, the service is excellent, the dishes almost high end. The menu items have some interesting and unique sauces. It's pretty much what you would expect for the money. It's the kind of place you would take a prom date.

I recently visited this restaurant with a friend. The only reason we ended up here, next door to the sister restaurant El Sacromonte (which is fantastic), is that Sacromonte does not have a smoking area and my friend wanted to smoke. We were assured by the Sacromonte doorperson that the food next door in El Duende was exactly the same... More

We have visited Guadalajara with friends for the past 7 years and we always eat at El Sacromonte. I find it hard to believe this is the 26th ranked restaurant. The service and food is excellent. Their food is different but very representative of the Jalisco. Both the food and beverage menus are excellent. I think this should definitely be... More

This was recommended by a friend who lives in Guadalajara. So the four of us went and were really pleased with the décor, very nice restaurant. The food is presented well and the quality is also very good. The prices were ok maybe a little high, But really we were pleased worth a visit if you are in town.

A Sunday morning we went to celebrate my grandma's b-day and it was a disapointment. The valet parking service is chaotic: extremely slow and without any order. We were seated in the bar area at the 2nd floor, the table and chairs were too small and very close to each other. The food and service were avarage and definetively they... More

It's a really nice place. But most of all, it has really good food. It's gourmet and nice looking dishes. Although portions are small, and it's a little bit expensive.

we celebrated our parent´s 80´s birthday with a family meal there. The food and the service accomplished our expectations for that special event.
