A Vegetarian Delight

As a vegetarian, I didn't want to join my friends who had to go to this restaurant. But I did and discovered a delicious soup, "Sopa de roquefort al chipotle". It was one of the best soups I ever had anywhere! Now I really want the recipe and can't find it on the internet or in my Latin American... read more

I have been to Vaca maybe 15 times. I happen to like the location on Calle Pedro Moreno as it's smaller, less busy, and easier for me to get to than other locations. They have an excellent wine list which is not common in GDL. The cuts of beef are generous and extremely tender . I will say menu is... More

Ask for the "Tapa" de Bife, very good. The cheese could have better quality and the wine list needs to be updated.

I should have had a clue when the hostess took us to our table that this may not be a good place to go. Few people and we were seated at the back of the restaurant (it was cold and raining) really that's the table you give someone?? Service was bad and the pasta was way over cooked. I have... More

This one of the more trendy steakhouses in Guadalajara. The location is pretty easy to get too on a main avenue. Dont even bother looking for parking....hand the keys to the valet! This takes care of two problems: they will watch your car since its under their care and you dont have to park 8 blocks away! The food is... More

I've eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the fare. There is a diverse selection of distinctive cuts of beef - not all familiar to the traditional North American diner - but all are very well prepared. A wide selection of tasty apps and drinks. If I were to offer a caution it would be "beware of over-eating"!

We had our dinner here mid January, the place was as always very busy and full, reservation for both lunch or dinner are needed to make sure to get a table. The food is excellent and the price value is one of the best that I came across in GDL during my last 4 weeks stay! The steak quality is... More

I had dinner twice at La Vaca Argentina in La Gourmeteria at the South of the city. The setting and lighting was very nice, the meat cuts interesting and well-cooked, service was perfect and the wines selection was wide.
