La Tequila has good service and an interesting food & drinks menu, from grass hoppers to ant eggs as first course and both fish & meat dishes as main course, as well as a very wide choice of tequilas. I had dinner there a few times and was very happy with the service and food quality.

This restaurant excels in all aspects, food is extraordinary, beverages very well prepared, waiters are friendly and efficient. Food is simply delicious, typical Mexican (of various regions.) Ambiance is great for families, the restaurant is in a very nice area of the city. Great choice to have some of the best Mexican food.

Its food is inspired in Mexican traditional cuisine, which means complex flavors, long preparation, lots of ingredient. It goes way beyond the basic Mexican, and stay as far as ossible from TexMex. The pork leg in brown sauce (forgot the name) was melting in texture and very reach in flavor. The Shrimp Tequila also interesting. On week nights it is... More

The place is beaultful and the food is excellent, inspired in traditional cooking - complex spices, long preparations, lots of ingredients... yes, there are corn tortillas, chilli and coriander, but fine Mexican cuisine goes way beyond that. Week nights attract an out of town crowd mostly interested in business... I suggest a later dinner with more locals, or lunch on... More

We had an early dinner at La Tequila after attending an event at Teatro Diana. It has a good reputation and we were not disappointed-- a very pleasant dining experience. The menu is filled with regional dishes from all over Mexico, some very exotic. Plenty of vegetarian and fish/seafood options, as well as meats. Courtesy offerings of shrimp soup before... More

I had a hard time choosing my meal from the extensive menu. I settled on the Relleno Norteño, a poblano chili filled with arachera and smothered with a red sauce and melted cheese. It was excellent. The wide choice of appetizers were pleasers and were difficult to choose from I will surely go back and try more of the entres... More
