Chai is located only blocks from my house so I love to go for an occasional lunch or take out. This is casual dining, nothing fancy, in a relaxed semi-outdoor atmosphere. Chai has some good salads and healthy entrees or one can load up on the carbohydrates here too. It is affordable and relaxed and as the name goes, it... More

Wonderful old colonial home remolded with a younger crowd. The food, service and drinks were the best. Try the espresso martini. Wish I was still there..would go back tonight for dinner....great fun place.

Great food, fantastic decoration and very cozy terrasse. Excellent service. Part of a chain of 7 restaurants, I was to the Vallarta street one. I would be a good idea to increase the size of the portions. Because of that it's a bit expensive, but one of the best restaurant of the area. You will find at the same place... More

This place was one of our favorite finds in Guadalajara. Mostly because both me and my boyfriend love Chais! This place has Chais with vanilla, apple and chocolate flavors, only to name some of all the drinks they have. The food is also really good. I had one of their sandwiches, and was not disappointed!

This review is for the location at 200 Juarez in the Centro Historico (Chai Centro). We live in San Francisco, California, and this café could easily be in one of the nicer parts of our city. It is clean and friendly, with marble-topped tables and white walls. It is perfect for a drink or a salad, a lunch or even... More

A huge menu for a great little funky place in the heart of Centro Guadalajara. We had the sandwiches and breakfast Huevos Rancheros plus fresh juice and coffee was great too. Nice comfy spot and couple of the staff spoke english when we needed a hand with the menu.
