We had lunch here on Monday at this very popular Italian restaurant. Got there early, so no crowd. (Tried to go there on Mexico's Mother's Day and there was a 1.5 hour wait.) Our second time there, and we like the place. Wife had linguini al tartufi (pasta with three kinds of mushrooms with an olive oil sauce), I had... More

The food is quite ordinary Italian food. Not even the best Italian you can get in Guadalajara. The place does look nice. Not bad.

After reading the reviews our expectations were high but our experience at the restaurant was not what we had expected. Although the service was good, the food lacked quality and flavour and the meals which were just average. We shared a provolone which was just warmed, did not have a crust on it and was rather chewy. The salad selection... More

Good italian food, good service in general, but old place, needs a change, facelift or something to keep up, prices are a little expensive.

This is one of the places I try to get to whenever I am in Guadalajara. The food has been consistently good over the fifteen or so years I have eaten there. Prices are consistent with the quality and service has been good considering it's usual crowded condition.

Also used to have good waiters now are only so/so. It used to have excellent service and super good italian food, now it is more like average Mexican food they are not in service no more just more money and the customer service is not important. Many many of the finer restaurants have taken this route, they base their prices... More

It is a good in and out pasta restaurant where the food is good most al of the time with some occasional spotty service. It is for the patient people, which I am. It is close to home, so if i have to wait a bit- it is still a good restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at La Trattoria. My (sick) fiancé wanted to take me (he has been). We arrive 5 minutes before opening, and had the restaurant to ourselves for about half an hour. The service AND food (and price for what you get) is outstanding! A salad bar is included in the price of an entree, and every... More

This is now a favorite in a city devoid of good hotels and restaurants. Where do the people eat and stay, I wonder? This place is centrally located, unpretentious and serves great value food. Don't expect a gourmet paradise but do reckon on great service, a warm atmosphere and a delicious complimentary salad bar . I nightly recommend this place... More
