Simply Lovely!

What a marvelous restaurant! Terrific menu range, excellent preparation, wonderful wine list and professional service! And the restaurant itself is a gem. Very pretty. Lots of privacy. I'll back!

Simply Excellent! The price is a little high for Guadalajara's average price, but if you want to have a nice and high quality dinner this is the place you should go.

A friend recommended this restaurant highly as she and her husband went there often when he was alive. I agreed to drive her from Ajijic to eat here as she doesn't drive herself. We arrived and I was very impressed as the décor was tastefully done and everything was presented beautifully. Much as I would have enjoyed a glass of... More

Service was exceptional at this delightful bistro. There are multiple seating options inside and out depending on how the weather is behaving. Dining in the private room in the wine cellar would most certainly be an experience. The waiter was most helpful in recommending Mexican wines and did not steer us to the most expensive. The owner was expansive and... More

What a find! The way all the dishes were presented, with nothing on the plate that couldn't be eaten, reminds me of CIA trained chefs. The artichoke starter was superb, caesar salad spot on and my pan roasted salmon was delicious and artfully presented. There are numerous dishes to choose from, about 7 pages worth. Great wine list too.

A little hard to find - not much of a front door. Next door to Blue Fish on Pablo Neruda. Lovely interior, including garden room, small banquet room, wine cellar dining area, and more. Excellent service, good wine list, eclectic menu, and everything we have tried is delicious, in our 4 visits so far. And we will be back again.

Thia is our favorite restaurant in Guadalajah--the service is "top shelf""--we took our family there after Thanksgiving--the attention they showed for our grandchildren--4 and 8--was greatly appreciated--Willa our 4 year old had baked Alaska for the first time--the service is in a class by itself. Thank you for everything!!!!!

After reading great reviews at Tripadvisor and even after a good friend from Guadalajara recommended it to me I thought it would be a great idea to go to Ofelia Bistro with my wife to finish off a long day walking around Tlaquepaque and Tonalá. Boy was I in for a surprise…. It's been a long time since I had... More

We dined at Ofelia on my first night in Guadalajara. There were about 26 of us there for a business dinner and they reserved the back patio for us. It was a beautiful, peaceful, private and elegant. The large tree in the corner was lit with charming lights and the patio walls were covered with vines and flowers that made... More

Seated at a table on the rear terreza overlooking the outdoor jardin dining area earlier today for lunch, I thoroughly savored comida of a delicious Cesar salad, scrumptious Lamb Tortellini entre, and thereafter shared a Merengue ice cream dessert with an expresso. Having dined at Ofelia Bistro previously, this fourth occasion was as enjoyable, and as memorable, with each scrumptious... More
