I had dinner at this place and it was a wonderful experience overall. Though it was pricey and a dinner for two inclusive of a wine could be 70 to 100 USD. I loved the ambience and staff seemed to be attentive and they served pretty quick. Aguachile and pierna de jabalí are recommended.

Atmosphere, Service, and Food ...excellent. We have dined at this restaurant twice now. Once with a party of 8, and also with a party of 4. Both times, everybody enjoyed the dining experience. I consider this a "casual, higher end restaurant" Wonderful "Meat Dishes" and more.

Out of all the restaurants I've encountered in my life, Sagrantino is among my favorite. The people, the food, the style, the warmth...everything!!! If you are a fan of octopus, just like me, its a MUST try the grilled-octopus. Also, service was extremely respectful and friendly. If you want to leave with a huge smile from your stay in Guadalajara,... More

Good flavors, good texture, good food, but above all excellent service. Only one plate was not good, a very average plate, but when told of this, they immediately took it away and did not charge it, highly recommend a visit, and try the rack of lamb!

I am from this city so as soon as I saw the place from outside and walked in, I recognized the pretentious and snobbish environment that this city is known for in certain areas and particularly when new bars and restaurants open up. We were well greeted and service was great during our entire stay. We had a couple of... More

I had dinner once at Sagrantino. I had a soup which was good and ravioli which was excellent. The only issue was that it is completely open so it gets very cold inside during cold winter nights, people had to keep their coats on.Fortunately, the food came in warm dishes, so it was kept sufficiently hot.

This was my second time at Sagrantino's and it was as good as the first time. I had several appetizers all of which were prepared perfectly, and the presentation was remarkable. Wild Boar was positively delicious, as was the Venison. Very nice atmosphere and a comfortable feeling while dining. Wine selection is very good, and reasonably priced. I will re-visit... More

I chose visiting Sagrantino based on the Tripadvisor reviews and I have to say they were absolutly right. First I was surprised with the atmosphere, great decor and excellent place to make business or to look good on a romantic date. Our waiter was very well trained and very knowledgeable of the menu. I asked him for recommendations on drinks... More
