Not a single reason not to love it!

El Madrigal is all that is to be expected from owner and uber-gracious host Ruben Cerda. The place is beautiful, the service impeccable and the food to die for.

This place is magical! It's about a 20 minute cab ride from our hotel in El Centro - but totally worth it. When you enter through the gate you feel like you are somewhere special They invite you to sit on the couches and enjoy a drink and the sunset while you gaze on the beautiful gardens. Then we ordered... More

El Madrigal might be one of most beautiful Mexican food places in Mexico. Located in the heart of Cuernavaca, known as "La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera" or "The Eternal Spring City", a beautiful Mexican city visited all-year-long by people from all around the world seeking for great weather, exceptional landscaping and vegetation and modt of all, peace. El Madrigal... More

We have dined at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant opens into a large beautiful garden area where the children were free to run around and play while the adults enjoyed our own conversations with our drinks and appetizers, and later our meals. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The meals were... More

I really liked the place. It was my first time there and I was enchanted by the cuisine and the service. Everybody is welcome there as I saw all kind of people (young, old, couples, big families, etc) At the end of our meal, the waiters suggested to take our dessert at the terrace and garden area which we really... We love El Madrigal. Great food, great service and a charming atmosphere. If you come to Cuernavaca it is a "can't miss" place to eat.

This is an excellent upscale restaurant, with great food, excellent service and very nice relaxed chic atmosphere. We went there for breakfast with a group of family members and friends, when we arrived the place was full and there was a waiting list to get a table. although we were a group of 8, it didn't take more than 30... Madrigal is one of those big estate restaurants - mostly outdoor/indoor; great art, gardens etc but very overpriced and ordinary food. Not much of a flavor of Mexico and as continental goes, wait till you get home to Europe or the states

The truth is, lots of people go there because of "Las Mananitas" nostalgia. (El Madrigal´s owner is the former manager of the once iconic restaurant Las Mananitas. It is the place to see and being seen for the 45-65 year old people. Like a country club with regular food. This is an big mansion like place with a very well... More

I had some reservations about dining in El Madrigal, price among them. It was a perfect evening. Excellent food, service and margaritas. Price was high, but not as high as I feared.
