My friends who are 3 years expat's in Cuernavaca took me here and we enjoyed a delicious Mexican breakfast in a relaxing courtyard atmosphere. Fresh-squeezed juices, a wide variety of mexican dishes to choose from. Attentive service. No complaints at all. Of course the price ranges are somewhat above average but well worth it.

An absolutely beautiful restaurant, open to a lovely garden. Food was not equal to the surroundings, but above average.

My husband and I went for dinner lat night and could not have enjoyed it more. The service was excellentand friendly. Not at all snobby. We were seated in the garden for a drink before dinner. Then led to a table when we were ready. The mariachis were very good but not in your face like can happen. Fish was... More

Visiting the area and went to dinner with 5 other friends. We started with drinks in the garden which is lovely and spacious. Children were running and playing on the lawn, large enough to not be too loud for us sitting nearby. Dinner was served in the dining room; the service was excellent and the food (seafood, steak and Mexican... More

This place not only combines perfect service, top food, international wines but a handpicked garden decorated with beautiful mexican top sculptures. El Madrigal literally is a dreamed restaurant wich will make you feel special ! A must, when visiting Cuernavaca which can compete head to head with best international restaurants, with all the glamour and service from a former founder... More

It's hard to believe that something this gorgeous is in Cuernavaca (which is a very nice town in its own right). Beautiful grounds, magnificent architectural structure, gorgeous art , outstanding service, very fine food, reasonable price ($65 USD including tip and wine for two--we couldn't get close to this in Portland, OR). In travels around the world, this has to... More

This has become our official birthday celebration restaurant. My daughter, currently 9, came for the first time two and a half years ago and since is the place where she loves to have her birthday dinner. It has never disappointed us as unfortunately other places have. You may wait to be seated while enjoying some beverages or proceed directly to... More

You begin sitting garden-side for your cocktails, and then move into the adjoining dining area for some of the best food in Cuernavaca. It had a local feel, unlike Las Mananitas; here you saw well-to-do locals running into other well-to-do locals with my own Cuernavaca host running into a couple of their fellow citizens. You're well-attended to, always within earshot... More

Had dinner last night with friends at El Madrigal. There were only a smattering of people in the place at dinner but again this is Mexico and the larger crowds happen at lunch time. It is a beautiful and tranquil place. There was a wonderful little wáter fall and a grassey área for the children to play on and open... More
