The place has been beautifully decorated, with very original ideas. The food was great and not terribly expensive. Pool could be repainted...

Stayed at the hotel and ate breakfast there every morning. Menu features some local specialties which I especially enjoyed. All the food was done very well. The staff was gracious and helpul and very flexible with special menu requests. Writing this I realize that I miss having breakfast there.

We have stayed at the Casa about five times and we always stay in Rm 6 on the top floor because of the private terrace. It has a king bed and decent sized bathroom but no tub. We like a shower so it doesn't matter but if you have small children, you may want to pick another room. There are... More

We stayed in Casa Colonial and will come back as soon as we can to this hidden jewel Service is impeccable. All rooms are decorated with colonial antiques. Beautiful gardens and pool. Don t miss breakfast by the pool. Location is the best if you want to visit museums and sites downtown. We loved everything about this hotel!!

We were wandering aimlessly looking for a decent lunch in between museum visits. We arrived at the Brady Museum and asked for a recommendation. They suggested this place and it was a wonderful suggestion! Although they were almost finished with their breakfast service they still allowed us to order off the full menu. The grounds are gorgeous and are so... More

Hidden oasis near the bus station, Brady Museum and zocalo. Nice pool, lush green walls with playful stone sculptures scattered around. Security door at only entrance requires someone to buzz you in, which always makes me nervous. We stayed in a nice cottage bungalow. Tight quarters and a little run-down, but the bed was comfy. No coffeemaker and breakfast starts... More

We stayed at the Casa Colonial for a week and I will review the hotel under hotels. However, the restaurant was way over priced for breakfast ( think U.S. ) prices and the price of cocktails was prohibitive. Also, the dinner menu had only four choices and no prices. There are much better places for breakfast just down the street... More

They have the best breakfast that I ever had, we stayed for two weeks and had breakfast every morning, I don't thing they have a cook, they must have a 5 star chef because how can you make breakfast outstanding for two weeks. We just a LOVED IT!
