Great view, good food

Coconut shrimp was excellent. Tuna tartar was different, interesting and good. The view was great, the service was terrific. A very fine evening. Well worth a visit.

We are staying in a hotel close to this and were going to the restaurant across the street, but it was closed so we tried this instead. Turns out this opening day for the expansion. Specialties were all about Tuna. I had the Tuna Sashimi and Tuna steak and my wife had Tuna Maui steak. All were simply terrific. Not... More

"Coco Bahia" now has a new dinning area, that seats about 30 people, right adjacent to their original spot. This brings their total seating capacity to around 50. And the view from theie higher level is SPECTACTULAR ! Everyone who has had the dining experience from there before, knows how excelent the food is. It is just as good as... More

Just went by my favorite spot in Zihuatanejo and found a newly remodeled section next to the "original Coco Bahia" but with a more spectacular view, decor and great ambience. For those that have had the pleasure of enjoying great meals...especially their tapas...you are in for a big surprise. Don´t leave Zihuatanejo without visiting this lovely spot!!!

GREAT little place. Understand they are remodeling. The best pasta. In fact all the food we sampled was fabulous. Can't wait for them to reopen.

My husband and I rented an apartment and spent 3 weeks in Zihuatenajo. We had to limit ourselves from coming here every day, otherwise we would have never cooked or tried anything else. Still, it was by far our favorite spot. I still have dreams of the coconut shrimp and am hesitant to ever order it elsewhere, for fear that... More

Every item we ordered was excellent; especially enjoyed the calamari and the tuna; both cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding.

Everything is true about this hidden treasure. A bit hard to get there, but well worth it. Wonderful food, reasonable prices. They are planning to build another room or floor next year. We will return!

Small plates, small eating area, small staff. Big taste, big on quality, big experience! Although small plates, they are very filling and great quality! We were there with two other couples and ate the nachos, spinach crepes, curry chicken fajitas (my fave), and others which were fabulous. Reasonable prices and good service. During the 2hours that we spent there, the... More

Yup, there is an authentic tapa bar in Zihuatanejo. Start from the Muelle Pier downtown near the Playa Principal, cross the bridge, turn left towards Puerto Mio (it is between Puerto Mio & Lety's restaurant) and walk another 10-15 minutes. Wear good walking shoes as this jewel of a restaurant is located on what some might describe as a steep... More
