We had a delightful meal - the menu offered a wide range of tapas. All extremely tasty, freshly prepared and well presented. The hosts were helpful and very hospitable - great margheritas and a complimentary liqueur to complete a memorable and special experience. It's a must visit restaurant in a special setting overlooking the bay. V reasonably priced and well... More

As a yearly ZIH visitor since 1993, one of the many things I like to do in ZIH is visit different restaurants. Coco Bahia is a must for every visit. Since they opened, five (or six) years ago, the food, service and ambiance just keeps getting better. New this year is a lovely garden section complete with a water feature.... More

Loved this little restaurant overlooking the bay. The service was excellent. The atmosphere very romantic, and the food was well prepared. The grilled skewered tuna and vegetables were so fresh, and the fried calamari was some of the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the sauteed mushrooms. A real gem of a restaurant, tucked away from all the hustle... More

We have been going to Coco Bahia since the opening. This spot was a old garage built in the mountain and turned into a restaurant. They began by making the food for the picante sail boat. It had 3 tables inside and 6 bar stools. They have now expanded to a 2nd level terrace 2 years ago and still serves... More

We live in Zihuatanejo, and we try to get to Coco Bahia on the full moon. It's the best place to sit and graze our ways through excellent tapas while watching the moon slide out from behind the mountains across the bay. Vegan options are the salads, the sauteed mushrooms (ask for olive oil instead of butter), and you can... More

This tiny bar/restaurant on the north side of the bay is a gem. The food -- primarily tapas -- is amazingly good, especially the coconut shrimp and the grilled calamari. It's also cheap and the view is spectacular. Only caveat -- cash only, no plastic.

A must go while in Zihua! Because there were 8 people in our party we were able to try a wide variety of menu items...and we were not disappointed! The Spinach Salad was amazing; different than any spinach salad I've eaten in that it had a peanut dressing. I'll go back to the restaurant for that alone! Our other favorites... More

Four of us (Americans) dined at Coco Bahia last evening on a recommendation from another American couple. It was marvelous. The sumptuous menu included everything from blackened sashimi to calamares fritos to salads out of this world. There are several items for the less adventurous as well to include chicken, fish, et. al. Our waiter was accommodating and the service... More
