We live in Zihuatanejo, and we try to get to Coco Bahia on the full moon. It's the best place to sit and graze our ways through excellent tapas while watching the moon slide out from behind the mountains across the bay. Vegan options are the salads, the sauteed mushrooms (ask for olive oil instead of butter), and you can... More

This tiny bar/restaurant on the north side of the bay is a gem. The food -- primarily tapas -- is amazingly good, especially the coconut shrimp and the grilled calamari. It's also cheap and the view is spectacular. Only caveat -- cash only, no plastic.

A must go while in Zihua! Because there were 8 people in our party we were able to try a wide variety of menu items...and we were not disappointed! The Spinach Salad was amazing; different than any spinach salad I've eaten in that it had a peanut dressing. I'll go back to the restaurant for that alone! Our other favorites... More

Four of us (Americans) dined at Coco Bahia last evening on a recommendation from another American couple. It was marvelous. The sumptuous menu included everything from blackened sashimi to calamares fritos to salads out of this world. There are several items for the less adventurous as well to include chicken, fish, et. al. Our waiter was accommodating and the service... More

Had a great meal again as this has been our 4th time this season. Love the food. Love the view. A little slice of paradise with food to match.

We just ate at Coco Bahia last night. Great little place for dinner, a bit off of the "tourist path" in downtown Zihuatanejo. Nice selection of food to satisfy anyone. I had the coconut shrimp, which was awesome! My husband had the fettuccini with chicken. Also, had the mixed salad. Very fresh!

We returned to the newly extended Coco Bahia and it was just as good as last year, except slightly larger. And they remembered us and welcomed us back. They now (in addition to the small restaurant area downstairs) have an upstairs terrace with tables and also a long bar where you can sit and gaze out over the bay, making... More

This cute little restaurant built a new upper level which gives you a great view of the Zihuatanejo Bay. Their food is very tasty and the people working there are very friendly.
