Ate there 3 times its that good

This was very close to our hotel so it was an obvious choice for us. From what I could tell of the clientele it is where the locals go. The huevos rancheros, divorciados, omelette and chilaquiles were all excellent. The fresh juices were a must. All very nice. Great atmosphere. Not open for... read more

Highly recommend.

It is a very beautiful and relaxing place to dine but over priced IMHO.. There are just so many places here where your tab will be less and the food better, but they stay busy offering very good service and a fancy restaurant setting.

Absolutely the best breakfast during the stay in Zihua. It is filled with locals and has a clean, crisp atmosphere. Do not go here thinking it is a drinking venue because of its name. Service was precise and the fresh squeezed juice was perfect. Try the Orange and Papya.

So, I hate to give anyone a bad review off one visit. We DID visit during low season and were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was good, the margaritas were not. They were very watered down. We laughed at the irony of the name of the restaurant who serves watered down margaritas. We were not impressed by the... More

We travel to Zihua frequently and we always have at least one breakfast at Margaritas in the Madera Colony. We're typically the only gringos in there but we absolutey love it. It's a very peaceful restaurant and they have really good pancakes and eggs! The menus are in spanish only but the servers are very helpful. Service is excellent --

Breakfast at Margaritas in La Madera (off Calle Adelita next to Casa Vieja). Lovely space, locals favorite for breakfast and lunch. Open kitchen, clean washrooms, great service, good food, comfortable seating. No air conditioning but lots of fans. Started with the offered fresh baking and coffee. The muffins are delicious. Ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit plate, ham, mushroom and... More

Super clean, great service, and very flavorful food. This is our second time here this week and will stop again before we leave Zihua.

A very nice breakfast spot. Clean, very good service in a courtyard type of setting. You might like to try the Muteluno, a mixture of eggs in tomato sauce with peas, ham and cheese.
